Car Seat Poll! October2011 2 kids; Pennsylvania 6716 posts
status 3rd Dec '12

These are the 2 I'm considering right now. I like the Price of the My Ride, but for some reason i can't imagine an older child sitting in it comfortably, and i'm afraid it'll be too big for the car, especially if we have more children. Please leave any reason as to why you chose the one you did!
..and i plan on trying it out for size at BRU before i actually purchase.

Radian 100%. I have the old version before the name change and I love it. Its more comfortable, sturdier, has higher limits, and can be a booster. Plus its narrow and low, so its easy to get the kids in and out of it. It can be used from birth too. There's also and angle adjuster to make it more upright for older kids.

There aren't any cheaper with the same or even close features.
But it's an investment because it could very well be the last seat you need.

I've got 3 seats right now for 2 kids.

My DDs main seat is her Radian, which she RFs in, and her 2nd seat is a Safety 1st Complete Air 65. It has headwings like the Radian, but it only RF to 40lbs and FF to 65. The Radian RF to 45lbs and FF to 80lbs.

My DSs seat (He's ERF too) is a Cosco Apt. It's a cheap seat than can be used for ERF because it RF to 40lbs. I got it because it's shorter and fits behind DHs seat when he drives because he's tall. The only downfall to it is that it also only FF to 40lbs, so it's not an overall seat that will last you a long time besides RF.

I looked at the graco 65 and a graco 70 (might be slightly off on the name) either way I ended up buying the graco 70 since it goes up to 70lbs and my daughter liked it way more. Yes I took her 4 month old butt around and sat her in different carseats her infant seat is way to short now and I needed a convertable that was comfy.
