So is it considered the bloody show only if it has some blood in it?

Congrats on the baby girl! She's so tiny!!

I'm at the hospital and about to be discharged I think. I came in too early. Contractions died down as soon as I got here. Not strong enough to cause a change in my cervix. Baby's heartbeat is irregular so waiting to see what they say.

Idk lol I don't really get the difference either. I know w dd1 I lost my plug like a week before and then the night I was having contrx I wiped and there was a lot of "spotting" that was my bloody show starting. Had her 6 hrs later.

Going home now. They are making me come back for NST tomm. Have an OB appointment at 2 pm and NST at 7:30 p.m. If she doesn't look good might have to csect.

ive had so much pressure in my pelvis today that i cant stand up straight and i need help walking. :(

I'm feeling you on the pressure thing in particular today. It's also in my belly too, this really tight pressure feeling. I went to the OBs and even when giving a urine sample part of my plug fell into the cup. I obviously didn't fish it out so I wouldn't mess with it but it was kinda gross. I felt bad to leave such a nasty sample.

The midwife added an AFI test to my NST tonight just because I kept stressing out about it to check my fluids. I asked her if the NST doesn't look favorable, what would they do? And she confirmed that they'd end up keeping me and delivering the baby. I'm really paranoid about what that could mean. I think all the caffeine i've been drinking is just catching up to me. I didn't even think about it being that and nobody mentioned it but after looking up on the internet that's what it might be possibly. It's almost four here and i'll be going in at 7:30. I'm trying to be confident that the baby will check out okay but I'll be ready if they say they need to do the c-section; just worried about what comes after that.

One more week!! I hope it goes by fast for us :)

I am hoping my LO stays put until this weekend at least. It would be best since we don't have family close. My two children will be coming to the hospital with us! I'm so nervous about how it is all going to work out but it will.

I am waiting for DH to get home from work so we can go eat! I really want some sushi right now. Yum!

My next dr appointment is on Thursday the 20th. And I am sure we will discuss induction if she is still comfy in there. I'm still undecided at this point. Some days (like today) I would like to wait a bit longer and wouldn't mind going past my due date. But there are days where I walk walk walk and bounce on my ball wanting it all to end. Lol

i have my next appt on wednesday at 10:15. he said if im not ready at that point then he will have me go in early thursday morning to be induced. so baby will be here this week. im hoping he gets here on the 20th. i totally understand what you mean about being ok if baby stays in. i wouldnt mind being pregnant for another month as long as im not in as much pain as im in now. :/

That's kind of what happened to me.. they didn't like the way Layla was acting during my NST and they sent me to the hospital and induced me. Don't worry though, if they do it's because they want to make sure your little one's okay. Layla came out perfectly fine. They just wanna play it safe.

I went in for a C-section due to her big size (estimated 8lbs 6oz) And my last son had shoulder dystocia so vaginal was risky.... but when I arrived for the C-section the doctor assured me that I could try vaginally because she wasn't concerned about her getting stuck so I did.

I did not get any Pitocin, I was actually contracting on my own when I got there anyway. They were starting to lessen so they broke my water at 1:00pm

I got the epidural at 4:00pm but it only worked on one side, so I was in bad pain for about an hour until they realized that my spine is crooked. They redid the epidural and I felt fine.

After about 15 minutes of pushing, My baby girl arrived as perfect as can be with NO issues :) It was the easiest delivery of all 3 of my children.
