Good luck Danielle! It's just a waiting game at this point. Hopefully everything goes smoothly.. and hopefully you're not in labor for 20 hours like I was! Keep us updated!!! :D

And Ayzya.. why aren't they concerned with her irregular heart beat? That sounds like something they'd want to monitor. Not trying to worry you.. I'm just surprised! But I'm glad the clots aren't a bad sign. Hopefully those contractions keep coming and you have your baby girl soon. I know you're anxious!!! Keep us updated! :)

ya i was in labor for 3 days last time. but the dr came in and checked me and said i was still 2cms. but im 50% effaced and i wasnt yesterday so thats good. when he checked me he stripped my membranes again. then things got moving really well. they are very painful and every 2-3 minutes apart. he is gonna come back in a couple more hours and break my water. im gonna try to go as long as possible without the epidural. i think as soon as my water breaks i will need it though cause the contractions are making my eyes water already. its hard to even type this because how painful they are. :( labor pain is good pain though.

I had my dr appointment today.

I am 3cm and dr stripped my membranes. I have been having some cramping - nothing major. And we set up an induction for the 25th if shes not here by then.

She is almost 8lbs and has chubby cheeks!

Yeah I don't know why they aren't doing anything about her heartbeat either. They scheduled two NSTs for next week but I honestly don't know what's the point? I keep getting my care overseen by the midwives as opposed to the actual OBs. Not sure if that's what's affecting the decisions to step in and do something. I'm getting more and more anxious because baby doesn't move as much sometimes and with this bleeding that's not going away it makes me more paranoid and antsy..

Hopefully things will just happen this weekend so I can just bypass them putting me off.

Ugh.. so I just want to vent for a minute. This maternity leave pay f**king SUCKS! I mean, technically we don't have maternity leave so I'm using my vacation time.. which is usually regular pay, but because I took six weeks off and only have four weeks of vacation time they're dividing my hours so I get the same amount each pay period while I'm gone. I got paid tonight and my check is $200 less than what it usually is, so after pulling rent money out, paying my power bill, paying my car loan payment and my line of credit payment, I have $10 to my name to last me the next two weeks. And I have no groceries. UGH!!!

I'm going to social services and trying again to sign up for food stamps. And I'm doing WIC this time too cuz this shit is ridiculous.

Curious... Do u split up ur checks to pay ur bills? Like say u get paid every 2 wks, do u set aside like 1/2 ur rent or othwr bills w each pay?

Good luck w the induction(s) those babies are gonna start popping out left n right now :)

That sounds very scary hon! Have you tried to be pushy? An irregular heartbeat, reduced movement and bleeding? That is scary and it sounds like medically it'd be best for her to come out! I would demand some type of medical intervention or at least daily monitoring!

Yeah, I pull the same amount out of each check for rent and whatever is due for the other bills. I spend whatever extra I can on groceries while leaving enough in my account for gas for the next two weeks. Me and SO split rent and bill costs, I usually cover groceries but SO just got home and ended up stopping by the store and got a few things so that's good.. it just sucks because his checks are smaller than mine (because he gets paid weekly and also has to pay child support) so that takes a chunk out of his check.

For awhile now I thought having a midwife was gonna be great but now I wish I was dealing with an actual OB. I never talk to any doctors directly in L&D, just the nurses. They always run off and call or talk to the midwives/docs but seeing as how I've been in four times now I don't feel like they really care what my concerns are. Everytime I go in they keep referencing my due date and week count wrong. Like today she was like "yeah we usually induce if you are 39/40 weeks." When we told her we are already 39, she just goes "yeah you should let her stay longer." It's like, no point in arguing.. Sigh.
