In their hair?! Crazy! Learn something new everyday. Ill look that up sounds neat! Yep I was bleach blonde baby too and it got darker as I got older so now it's a medium-dark brown. Hubby is strawberry blonde but he's got red heads in his family so hoping like heck Aaron is one :) hubby n his mom have white eyebrows but Aaron may have darker like dd2. Dd1 may have the white. My fil rip owned a motorcycle conversion shop that hubby worked in for awhile til Econ went downhill, so it's kinda like my fil "branded" Aaron lol hubby cried when he realized what it looked like. It's like his dad was watching. He died 2 months before dd2 was born n she looks exactly like my fil from day 1. So it helps w the grief. Esp bc hubby is the only one having babies bt him n his bro. So Aaron will carry on the last name. Aww! I bet ur so is over the moon w Layla! Don't worry bout the bouncer thing some babies don't like that stuff. Dd2 hated swing and bouncer. Dd1 cried during tummy time. I have so many pics of her crying lol both girls LOVED the exersaucer though. And the doorway jumper.

Aaron can roll onto his belly from his back, and he's been able to lift his head and stuff since he was born! Is that normal? Lol I don't really worry about him suffocating when he sleeps cause he can just roll away! Lol

Awe thank you! :) I have a million headbands for her but they never stay on for very long so I put each one on and take a picture lol. But yea she is definitely long and skinny I got her measurements yesterday and she is in the 6th percentile for weight and height.

Aww, that FIL story is sweet. :) Maybe that's why your DH looks at Aaron differently than he does the girls.. could also be because he's yall's only son, too. :) That's so sweet! And yes, SO just adores her. He's always kissing on her and talking about how cute she is hahah. He has a four year old son too, but his connection with Layla is completely different because his ex left him in the middle of her pregnancy, so he didn't get to experience all the doctor appointments and whatnot like he did with me, he wasn't there for his son's birth (she didn't tell him until a few days after he was born that he was even here) and he hasn't been in his life much because she's spiteful and refuses to let him see him (even though they have a court agreement that he has visitation rights, she doesn't stick to it and he's taking her back to court to fight her on it). He even says he feels a different kind of love for Layla, which makes me sad because he should feel that way for his little boy but he doesn't because his ex won't allow him to have those special moments together. :( I'm hoping one day he will.. he's been in and out of court with her for four years now and she blames me for him not being able to see his son.. we started dating when his son was about three months old, so I guess she still had feelings for him, and despite the fact that she's been with her current SO for over a year now, she still holds a grudge against me and him. It's ridiculous.

I went way off topic again. I don't have an exersaucer for Layla yet, but I figured I have time before I need to get one. I'm hoping she eventually likes SOMETHING we got her. I mean hell, we spent so much money on this crap. But right now she seems to just like being held and chillin in her Boppy. It'd be pointless for me to get her a doorway jumper while we're in our house because the only doorways with frames are the bedroom and bathroom doorways and I can't really see any of those doorways from the living room, so I don't think I'd use it. But.. one less thing to buy! lol

One less to buy is always a plus!!! Prolly a combo of fil n only boy. Rolls already? Wow ur gonna have ur hands full! I took a shower today n laid Aaron on living rm floor on one side. Came out and found him across the other side trying to suck on the bottom leather of the couch!!! I knew he wiggled but didn't think he'd move like that! He even had himself turned around. Oh I think some of u ladies will get a laugh outta this- a "friend" posted some stuff about -women who find out they're preggo n then post their cravings are full of it bc baby is the size of a peanut so what those women really are craving is just attention.... Keep in mind the chick that posted all this has never ever been preggo. Took everything I had not to respond back to her ridiculous uneducated post. I wanted to b slap her :) n yes I'm guilty of posting cravings the week I found out. Another "friend" won't pay for the divorce but left the guy while he was away for jury duty over a yr ago n "got engaged" a week ago over fb. (Facepalm) I need better n smarter friends lol

I never understood the whole percentile thing.. is it the lower the percentile, the better..? :? I feel dumb asking that lol. I'll be getting Layla's two month measurements on the 31st.. can't wait to see how big she is already! She definitely looks much bigger than at her one month checkup. And, now that I think about it.. Layla MIGHT let me keep headbands on her because when we got her newborn pictures taken, she didn't seem to mind the little hat we had on her head. Hmm.. maybe I should get some and see what happens lol.

Layla wiggles in her crib lol I'll lay her at the top center of the crib every night and by the time she's awake in the middle of the night, she's at the bottom. She hasn't rolled over or flopped to a side or anything yet, but the other day I propped her up on the couch (we have a very cushiony couch and we'll lean her up where the arm and back of the couch meet), turned around for a second and when I turned back she was face down on the couch. It kinda freaked me out. She didn't seem to mind, she was lifting her head up and looking around like, "Dafuq just happened?" I'm guessing she tried lifting her head and fell forward.

Oh, and I have some "friends" like that as well lol. One in particular dated her boyfriend for a total of three weeks, married him, and is now having his baby (she's 30 weeks pregnant and I think they've been together for about eight months now), and apparently at some point she found messages in his FB or phone where he was talking to some transexual guy.. I don't know lol but she posted all about it all over FB then a few days later was all, "I'm sssooo in love with my husband, you people need to stop talking shit, stay out of my business blahblahblah" lmao I so badly wanted to be like, "Quit making your fucked up relationship public and maybe you won't have so many people judging you."

I hardly have time to turn my computer on these days.. if I manage to turn it on is when she always needs me and starts her cry-fest. Man it's been rough! I don't know if she has reflux and is colicky or what but she keeps howling when I hold her. She's always wanting to feed and her poos haven't been very consistent. After getting yelled at by my mom because she was pooping like crazy and having a really bad rash, they made me stop breastfeeding (blaming it on my bad eating habits therefore my milk is bad) so I had to give her just formula for a few days. So it's been like two days that I formula fed her only and she hardly poo'd. She went very little at first and then not at all for an entire day. I finally breastfed her this afternoon and right away she exploded in her diaper. It was horrible to suffer with the engorgement issues and worry i'm gonna dry up as a result of holding off on giving her my milk.

Enough of my rant. (have no time for it!) but I love all the pictures you ladies are posting. I just did her photo studio session today, she's 3 weeks and here are some highlights!

Aww! Don't worry so much bout the inconsistent poop. Aaron is somewhat regular but it varies when he goes. Sometimes it's an explosion (me, him, couch covered!) or it's tiny like wet farts. And what kinda rash? Sorry ur mom was so mean about it blaming ur milk n all. If she's colicky it'll be crying for about 3 hrs. There's a rule of "3" like...3 hrs crying, may start around 3 wks old, and one other 3 I can't remember. It can last up until 9 months (dd2 had it bad). Does she seem to pull her legs into her belly while crying? Not just normal stretching. More like trying to help herself fart? U can give gas drops, help fold her legs up and stretch them back out. theres even a special hold position that can help- lay her belly down on ur forearm and w other hand support or pat back so u can "swing" her on ur arm gently. the pressure usually feels good on their bellies to them. I stopped bfing w dd2 at 4 months bc she weaned herself outta the blue. Had to give her formula. She stayed colicky for 5 more months so IMO its not bc of ur milk. if she is colicky just remember its not ur fault, they usually outgrow it, don't feel like ur a bad parent bc u can't calm her down- take a break and try again. Dd2's thing was laying on her belly head to my chest flat in bed patting her back and singing lullabys. Just me, no one else. since ur engorged when u didn't feed her I'd say ur supply isn't drying up n that very well may not be the cause of her crying. Dd1 wasn't colicky I never made enough for her n it dried up at 6 months. I never got engorged. My milk was thin like water when I pumped. I couldn't get even an oz from a breast. She cried nonstop after an hr feeding session. She lost weight and gained maybe a few oz a week. But At 3 months she was pale, skinny, and not even at her birth weight. Hang in there mama! Talk to her pedi and see what they say. She could be just a fussy baby. It's all trial and error.

Aww, little Claire is adorable! I love the pictures!!! :D And like she said, if you got engorged, I doubt you're drying up already. Also.. the lactation consultant at the hospital told me our bodies are very forgiving when it comes to lactating.. the most you need to worry about is food that could make her gassy, so don't blame your eating habits on her fussyness. I'm sorry your mom's being like that, people find it hard to believe some babies are just cranky and feel the need to blame the mom for everything.

So I have looked in three different stores for those Fenugreek seed capsules and I can't find them anywhere. :x I looked at two of our local grocery stores (I looked with the vitamins and down the organic aisle) and I checked Trader Joes. I went to the Vitamin Shoppe yesterday but they were closed by the time I got there. Ugh! I just want to produce a few more ounces each time I pump.. if I could do that, I'd be great, but as of right now she's only getting two MAYBE three bottles of breastmilk a day, the rest is formula. :? I also found a recipe for lactation cookies and it calls for brewers yeast and I can't find that shit anywhere either! Apparently I'm just not supposed to breastfeed because all the things I'm looking for to help me feed her are nowhere to be found. Grr.

Thanks ladies for the support. I've been stressing out big time so I know that its been affecting my milk supply. My family has been making things hell for me, on both sides. I had all this family drama arise and it's causing me so much grief its not even funny. The entire side of my mom's family hates me and i'm just really fed up with everybody's attitude and nosiness. So sometimes, having your family around is not very helpful at all.

But anyway, I got freaked out today when I fed her my breastmilk and she just spit all of it up. I noticed when she was sleeping the sheets were all wet too probably because she spit up everything.. I don't know how to keep things down for her. It's so hard. I'm going to the doctors because she looked really sick and her face suddenly had red bumps all over after she threw up the milk. I gotta make sure she's okay.. I swear the doctors office is probably so tired of hearing from me because i'm calling all the time about her reflux and such.

Good luck Carmen, I voted for you!

My little boy spits up what seems like everything, everytime he eats. He is gaining weight so the doctors aren't concerned. It drives me crazy we both have to change clothes 3+ times a day lol

Yeah I have to change her clothes about 3 times too! Ugh, I just did laundry too and I have to do it again because we went through all the burp cloths and I've been using these flannel cloth wipes that were originally bought to be used as diaper wipes but I still have yet to actually start cloth diapering. I decided to hold off initially just to get through the recovery process and although I'm not completely healed yet, I am gonna wait it out until maybe after my aunt and cousins go back home to Canada since my aunt keeps getting all up in my baby business. Everyone is trying to convince me not to CD because I won't have the time and its too hot to put her in her cloth diaper; but I still want to do it. I don't mind waiting until it gets colder though to CD. So i'll let you guys know how that goes. =P

But yeah i'm back to BF her again and just supplementing with formula as needed. So far she seems to be doing okay, we only had the two initial poop explosions (lol tmi?) but now she's just peeing and she doesn't seem to bothered so I hope the trend continues.

Thanks! :) I've been tied with that one chic for a while now and I wanna beat her.

Layla's been breaking out in little red bumps too, they're just baby zits/milk bumps and they're perfectly normal. I can't wait until they go away, poor thing has em on her forehead, her cheeks and all under her neck. She looks a mess with em lol I'm hoping they clear up soon.
