Kadee is sleeping through the night as well. She normally sleeps from 10 or 10:30 till 5 or 5:30, wakes up to nurse then goes back down till I get up at like 8:30 but some nights goes all the way till 6 or 7 without waking. And she is still nursing so well and she hardly ever fusses. Sometimes I feel like I am just waiting for the other shoe to drop because my son was so colicy for months and months and never slept at night. She has been such an easy baby I cant help but brag sometimes lol
And yea she is very warm blooded, both my kids and hubby are. They all sweat so easily, even when its not that hot!

Aww, that's awesome that she wakes up and goes right back to sleep. Layla goes down around 8/9pm and wakes up around 6/7am and she stays awake.. there's no laying her back down lol. She'll take her nap around 10/11am and sleep anywhere from 2-4 hours lol then she's up for the rest of the day. And I feel so blessed to have such an easy baby, I'm just waiting for her hell-raising side to come out lol. I'm sure once she starts teething or once she's actually mobile, it'll be an entirely different story lol.
She had a very eventful day yesterday, we went to SO's parents to celebrate his nephew and his sister's birthdays and Layla would NOT take her nap. She slept on the 45 minute drive up there, but that was it. Poor baby was so cranky all day. Everyone kept passing her back and forth, the other kids were all in her face, she was so stimulated! Her eyes would get heavy and she'd fall asleep but the second I'd lay her down she'd wake right back up. Needless to say, that girl was knocked out after her bath lol.
SO's SIL is 35 weeks pregnant and they're waiting to find out what they're having.. them not knowing is making me anxious. I think they're going to have a boy (it's his family pattern.. his grandma had two boys, his mom had two boys and a girl, his sister had two boys and SO had two boys and a girl), if they have a girl I'll really be amazed since the boys always come first in his family, but his SIL was telling me she hopes to have a boy because if she has a girl, not only does she have to be a parent but she has to be the role model lol. I never thought of it that way. I kinda hope they have a girl so Layla will have a girl cousin around her age and I can hand down all her clothes and toys to them lol but I really think it's going to be a boy. One of my coworkers is also pregnant (like 22 weeks I think) and she's waiting to find out too. I just hope ONE of them has a girl so I have someone to give these clothes to lol.
Aww love the pictures too! I think it's great that your babies are doing so well. Claire was doing so much better but we suddenly regressed back to the colic-like days. Suddenly she's been spitting up like crazy and is always fussy and crying. No matter how much I feed her she's always hungry. I'm worried that maybe I'm drying up or something because letting her sleep through the night and all the going out is keeping her from bf'ing.
I forgot to tell you guys about my brothers news but one of the triplets passed away. His Gf had pre-eclampsia and the girl was compromised so we ended up losing her. They had to pull the boys out a little later so they could gain more weight so my nephew Logan was born 3.4 pounds and Lucas was a minute later at 2.4 on July 30. They are identical so with time Lucas' weight will even out with his brothers.
Claire gets sweaty too and with the cradle cap can be really stinky. Luckily the cc is getting better but yeah, at one point it was attacking her eyebrows. She still smiles a lot when she's well fed and is really trying hard to talk. She keeps studying our mouths and tries to imitate sometimes and gives cute coos.
Ayzya, have you tried a different formula? Or are you EBF? Maybe she's just going through a growth spurt. :? She could have reflux.. ask your pedi about putting cereal in her bottles. I've seen so many girls on here who are all, "OMG NEVER PUT CEREAL IN A BOTTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!" but I've been putting it in Layla's bottle since she was six weeks old and she's still alive lol (her pedi said it's okay). She was constantly hungry, and still kinda is, but with the cereal it fills her up more. I don't put it in every bottle because I want her to still get the nutrients from the formula, but it helps.
And I'm so sorry for your brother's loss. :( That's terrible. But at least the other two are doing okay. My god, triplets, I wouldn't know what to do with myself. I'm exhausted with just one baby.
Layla got the dry patches on her eyebrows as well. That soap and lotion I got for her has definitely helped. Oh, and today marks a whole WEEK of sleeping straight through the night. :D I'm so proud of her! I'm hoping she stays a good sleeper but I know baby's change their sleep schedules like it's nothing. I'm keeping my finger's crossed though.
So Layla wore pants for the first time ever the other day. It's been so hot, and in a house with no central AC, a onesie and socks are all you need. Anyways, here's a picture..
She looks kinda freaked out hahah. SO's mom was pissing me off though because she wore that when we went to her house to celebrate SO's nephew's birthday and the whole time his mom was like, "She must be so hot in those pants!!!" But it was FREEZING in her house. I was like.. seriously?! It's freakin below zero in here and her little hands felt like ice cubes. Ugh. She called me today saying she's sick and SO's brother got sick before he left to head back home (he was visiting for the weekend). I really hope Layla doesn't get whatever they got.. she said it's a stomach bug/cold. :? The last thing I need is a sick baby. She threw up a bottle last night and was acting really fussy, so I hope she's not getting it.
Love the cute pic of Layla!! She's adorable!! And I can't believe Yalls babies are sleeping through the night.. I wish Madison would!!
We just came home from her two month check up and she's 15lbs 10oz and is 24" long. She's in the 99% for her age lol she also had to have 3 shots and one oral. I cried, she cried, it was a big mess lol she's sleeping now and I think all I'm gonna do is cuddle her all day.
Hope you ladies are doing well and keep the pics coming!

Im so sorry for your family's loss :(
It sounds like maybe she could have reflux. Kadee has mild reflux where she will puke after eating if not held upright for an hour after eating. She throws up even up to 2 hours after her last meal like 50 % of the time if laid on her back but I say its mild because it doesnt bother her at all or interfere with her feeding. I would talk to her pedi about it if it gets too bad!

Kadee was in the 3rd percentile for weight at her 2 month check up but 50% in height and head circumference. Even though she has a healthy appetite she is just a skinny girl!
Carmen, I actually have to get her on the expensive formula. I use Similac Alimentum which is good for babies who could be allergic to both milk and soy because it breaks down the milk proteins that can be hard for some babies to digest. She seems to do well on it, because before I was using the regular Similac Newborn formula ready to feed and she seemed to be spitting up too much. The thing is, just when things were going really good and I was mostly BF'ing and supplementing with formula maybe once a day or twice, she was hardly spitting up and I went and tried to reintroduce the regular Similac again to see if she would take it and that's when I started to regress. I don't know if its just coincidence and that i'm also going through the growth spurt because she just always seems hungry.
I also am wondering if she was just having some gassy pains or feeling constipated because she wouldn't poop for a day and a half and then finally she just fills up two whole diapers and sometimes even three. Ugh, I must sound like such a terrible mom!
Me and Claire
Quoting Ayzya:" Carmen, I actually have to get her on the expensive formula. I use Similac Alimentum which is good for ... [snip!] ... despicable me. I think this picture makes her head shape look like the bottom of a 2-liter bottle. Haha.. :D Me and Claire "
You're not a terrible mom, it's all trial and error! These babies don't come with instruction manuals and they're all different from one another. You just gotta go with your gut and do what you feel is best for her. She's still alive and kicking so you can't be doing too bad. :P
And ohhhh my gosh, THOSE CHEEKS!!!!!!!!!!! I wish Layla would have kept her chunky cheeks but she had to get all long and lanky.. except for her belly lol she's got a nice, round belly.
And you're so pretty! I don't think you've posted any pictures of yourself on here (except for the few belly shots you shared). I see where Claire gets her good looks. :D
for some reason I cant post pics but here is some links to them! :)
Well I finally just caught up on all of the posts! Adorable pics of all the babies and mommies :) I'm still having trouble posting pics...I'm going to try again tonight and try to figure it out. lol Glad everyone seems to be doing well! Peyton and I are good! I am 9 pounds away from pre pregnancy weight and Peyton is 11# 5oz and 23in long at her 2 month check up. 3 shots, one oral immunization and she also was tongue tied and got her tongue clipped :( She was a trooper though and only cried for a minute. She was more pissed that they were holding her down! I got put on a dairy free diet because Peyton was having loose, bloody, stools with mucous...poor girl. It seems to be helping though :) Only thing now is that if she doesn't out grow it, I have to throw out all of my milk stash...which is A LOT of milk :( I would die! Pedi said if this diet doesn't work I will have to stop BF and switch to a special formula which I really don't want to do. She hasn't gotten formula at all....and I know this formula will be more expensive! She is sleeping well at night. Goes to bed around 9 and wakes up at 3 or 4 to eat and right back to sleep for 3-4 more hours :) I just need to start going to bed with her :/ I go back to work in two weeks and I am not ready!!!
not sure how to just post the pic...
Peyton is so friggin cute!! And I loved the pictures Carissa, your baby is also so adorable and I loved the last picture in particular of you laying down with him. Aww!! Love that you are so confident in BFing too. Way to go, mama.
And thanks Carmen for the compliment! I feel so blech so I think I need to get back to feeling better about myself. That'll take work though and truthfully it's more important to me to focus my energy on the baby right now so ill get around to it. I'm still not losing enough weight but meh.
Claire's two month checkup is next Wed. I'm nervous about her shots. Seeing her cry for her heel pricks made me cry.
