I actually haven't gotten my period either and as far as giving it up to the hubs.. um, he's been really good about waiting. He's just so tired and so am I, and he's never been the type that was demanding it. He's a different type of breed I guess. haha, that works out for me though because I don't need it all the time and if I do, then it probably just works out for him that way. I can tell he does need some time for us though but I just haven't been feeling all that great down there still. Did anybody experience pains still? Sometimes I feel as if I haven't healed all the way at times. Like randomly when i'm squatting down to buckle her in her carseat or whatever it is.
And yes Claire still cries but mostly if she hasn't fed enough or if she's just sleepy and can't settle down. She'll settle down if I hold her of course, but she hates being alone. She always wants somebody to hold her and interact with her face to face.
Here's a link to a clip of her talking to her dad. Sorry its in Vietnamese. We like to speak Vietnamese with her because they say its good to speak a foreign language with them. I forget exactly why but meh.
Aww so cute :D maybe I can post a video of Aaron talking...
And yes sometimes I still get random pains down there, my doctor said that since I had nerve damage it takes a few months to heal, maybe that's what happened to you?
I looked down there today and was shocked to see two large years O.o I was like daaammn! Lol I thought that shit was supposed to be sewn together haha
Quoting Ayzya:" I forgot to mention that but yeah I didn't realize that's what amber teething necklaces are for? I thought ... [snip!] ... a foreign language with them. I forget exactly why but meh. https://soundcloud.com/missayzya/claire-trying-to-talk/s-SIwnD"
I just ordered a necklace on Amazon for $15.. you just gotta make sure it's real because some places sell fake ones that won't work. The Art Of Cure ones are on Amazon and it's the brand I bought, I asked a bunch of people on here and they said they're legit. Apparently the lighter in color, the better (they have dark brown ones to light yellow ones). And they have raw and polished ones, apparently the raw ones work better. A bunch of people said after you put the necklace on, LO will stop drooling and fussing after like two/three days of wearing it. I can't wait to try it out! It should be here by Tuesday. :D I'll let you ladies know how it works.
And you and your DH still haven't gone at it?! Or are you saying you just don't do it often? Me and SO did the deed at like five weeks PP (I had already gone to my PP appointment), it hurt like hell at first but now it actually feels even better than it did before, so.. I got lucky. I don't feel any pains anymore, but I've got like four weeks on you guys.. I don't think I was still hurting at three months PP though. :? Hope you're okay!
It seems like Layla has been a little more fussy lately, but I think it's the teething. She doesn't like sitting in her Boppy pillow as much as she used to.. before she could just chill there forever but now she demands to be held lol. And Claire is too stinkin cute!!!! :D I don't know if I have any new videos, Photobucket is saying it's down so I can't check right now.. :?
Me and dh did it three Weeks PP, it felt amazing haha so sex is better? Thats awesome I think it is for me to! :)
Damn, girl! 3 weeks PP?! I think we waited until 6 weeks and it was just a quickie. We tried once again and it was just not happening.. And that was it. Lol..
I just don't feel good enough to jump back "on" the saddle. Maybe when it cools down more and I lose more weight. I'm not back to pre-preg yet. :(

Yeah, sex is so much better for me now! I would fake it all the time before  but now I don't have to hahah it just feels awesome! And three weeks PP? Ouch! It hurt like hell after five weeks, I can't imagine three weeks.
And Ayzya, I haven't lost all my baby weight either.. I've still got like 15 pounds to lose but I don't care hahah and neither does SO. I mean I'm not as confident as I used to be but SO tells me I look fine so I don't worry about it. Still trying to lose the weight but it'll come off eventually.
Quoting DifferentDay:" It's been 2 wks since hubby n I did it last. And something happened while repositioning myself and it ... [snip!] ... the weight bc I eat constantly to keep my supply up. Oh well. I can't wait til the weather drops for hoodies and jeans!!!!!"
You make an excellent point. I do eat more because of the BF'ing, because I swear she gets my tummy growling each time. I also feel pretty determined to go for good walks to work this off though. I get people that randomly ask me how my PP is, and although it's definitely loads better since my family is somewhat more off my back it does come back and haunt me at times. I'm not even sure if its the PP but lately I've been kind of jealous and irritated over hubs' SIL, she has been pretty obsessive about the baby and looks for any and all opportunities to hog the baby. I spent the whole day with her once and even though the baby was crying and we both acknowledged that maybe she needed me, SIL wouldn't let her go and would walk to the next room just to try to get the baby away from me to see if she'd stop crying.
The scary thing is sometimes she does manage to get the baby to calm down right away compared to when MIL or someone else tries to hold her. Even me included. That made me feel really upset inside and I couldn't disguise my unhappiness. I know she loves me, but sometimes I just get afraid she could choose somebody else over me. I know i'm just being dumb. >:(
I think she senses I am trying to stay away from her because she was much more irritable when I saw her yesterday. My MIL forced her to be the godmother on us and wants baby baptized asap but we have to do that in November because of scheduling issues, so because its pushed forward another month my SIL is all irritated. I swear she's gonna bump me off the chance she gets.
I put her on my shoulders for the first time the other day and she loved it!
She's also been s**king on her thumb a lot lately.. (this is how she fell asleep on daddy the other night).
All dolled up to see SO's family last week.

Too cute! That's pretty awesome progress for Layla. Did she double her weight now that she's at 4 months? I love all the photos, makes you feel like you are on top of the world. It's such a blessing, and I am so glad we are still staying in touch and updating each other on how things are going. I'm off to the lactation consultant to talk about Claire's constant reflux and see if i'm producing enough milk. She's being super fussy again.

You think she could be teething? It's possible. Is she drooling a lot and chewing on her hand? Layla's amber teething necklace came in on Monday and she's been wearing it since.. I've noticed she's not as fussy and she's not drooling nearly as much as she usually does. Still shoving her hand in her mouth though. And yes, she's doubled her birth weight. She was 7 pounds 11 ounces at birth and now she's 15 pounds (can't remember how many ounces lol).
I am not very active in here - I am super busy with work full time + overtime, school full time and mommy to 3!
I do read more than I post though :) I love the pictures! I will try to upload some later today after my dentist appointment. So not looking forward to that

Yeah she's definitely teething, and since the amber necklace works for you, I think i'm gonna go out and get one too.
And James Mama, looking forward to seeing pictures of Emily. I envy those of you working and pulling it off with the babies! I am trying to find another job but I don't know how I'm gonna manage with Claire being as fussy as she is. All of the family keeps telling me with how she is she'll never manage with a babysitter. Today at the lactation consultant, she finally reached 12 pounds. Little chunk has been fussy off and on lately.
Good morning mamas! How are y'all liking the new site? I've just recently figures out how to maneuver this site..it will take some getting use to but oh we'll. Madison had her 4 month old uncheck up yesterday and she's 20.4 lbs and is 26.5 in long!! She was huge compared to all the kids in the waiting area. She had to have 3shots and 1 oral which breaks my heart every time she cries. She was cranky all evening and started running a fever last night. She's still feverish this morning but she seems happier doc said her poor gums are definitely swollen and shes teething lol My other dd Lexi woke up and has been puking all morning So this is going to be an eventful day for all of us here. Think we are gonna have a movie day and just relax.
How are all you ladies and babies doing?? I'll post some pics when I'm not mobile :)
Blegh, I don't like the new site. Why fix something that was never broken? It's so glitchy and even worse when I'm at work.. I can't click on half the links on my work computer and it's so frustrating because this is the only site I can go on that isn't blocked here lol. And holy cow, Madie is so big! Layla is barely 24 inches and is right at 15 pounds (I think I posted that after her four month checkup). Sorry to hear about Lexi, hopefully it's just a 24 hour thing and she'll be back to normal in no time.
And I don't know if you guys remember me posting about SO's SIL being pregnant.. well she finally popped! She was 42 weeks pregnant when it finally happened.. they were waiting to find out what they were having and it's a boy! They named him Charley Abraham Gillis. He's a cutie, got a big ol' head and is super long! He was 21 inches at birth, 8 pounds 5 ounces. We haven't met him yet because they're in North Carolina but we're hoping to head down there the weekend after next. Layla's not the baby in the family anymore.. that spotlight didn't last too long hahah but she's still the only girl.
And Layla has finally rolled over a few times and she's let me witness it! This weekend she went from back to belly like four or five times, one time she went from back to belly and almost instantly from belly to back. Of course every time I try to record it she refuses to move, but I swear she's done it lol. She's also been fascinated with her feet lately, she keeps grabbing them and is almost to the point of putting them in her mouth, and of course she's been talking up a storm.. always cooing and making silly noises hahah, I love it. Here's a few pictures for you ladies..
Layla doing her duck face with Huga hahah.
Bath time with her duckies!
And OH MY GOD it is so difficult to add pictures with this new site. I'm so frustrated now lol.
