I recently had to switch insurance companies due to my husbands job.. Unfortunately I have to change my OBGYN.. I was just curious.. What's the furthest you have or would travel for a doctor?!? The doctor I would like to switch to is about 35 min from my house, and the hospital she delivers at is about an hour away.

Yea I make hubby come in the room w me. Last appt he couldn't bc my 2 ish yr old was melting down but my 4 ish yr old took his place lol. He's an Lpn so sometimes he knows what to ask when I don't n I have a terrible memory so it's nice to have an extra set of ears.

I've traveled 45 mins for Ob appts in de. Hosp was across the street I delivered at w my 1st. My 2nd was 3 min to Ob office n hosp across street. Next Ob was 10 mins away n backtrack to hosp 3 min from our house. This time ob is over an hour away but the office is located inside the hosp ill deliver at. They're also on a different time zone 1 hr ahead of me.

So we got a look at the babies today! Dr thought that one was probably a girl, and the other would NOT cooperate so she couldn't say for that one. Still have my fingers crossed for one of each. We also talked about the 20 week scan. I'll have to have it done about 45 min north of here (My Dr is literally 5 min away from my house, as is the hospital where i normally got my scans) because I'm considered "high risk" cause there are two babies.

I also asked about my delivery options. I get to try a vaginal delivery if baby A is head down, but if baby B is not, and will not turn, I will have to have a c-section too. (meaning vaginal delivery for baby A, and c-section for baby B) Yikes. She won't do breech for anything, no local Drs will. She told me I could go down south, but I don't want to switch Drs that late in the game and I certainly don't want to drive an hour to deliver :( ah decisions, decisions!
