I love silly pet names.

When we get a dog in the future, whether it's a male or female, we're naming it

Elemeno Barksdale, (Mr. Barksdale).

She looks like a Matilda or Ashley to me. I love people names on animals.

First name to pop in my head looking at her was Agnes. I don't know why... but Pixie came second.

Roxy, Lady, or Sadie would be good for her.

I had a cat once that we called Sam. Friend of mine looked at me and said "I changed his name from Sam to Samwise Mousenheimer"

AWWW I freakin love bulldogs, she is adorable! I agree - she needs an old lady name.

My mom used to groom one (bathe / clip nails) and his name was Puddin' - he used to run to their living room when mom was done and scoot on his butt for the rest of the day.

I love human names on pets too but Ashley won't do, that is my ex's sister's name and we bought the dog together. Funny enough his great grandmother was named kizzy like my other dog LOL!

We actually thought about Magnolia like your SN (because it's the state flower or MS where my ex is from), call her either Maggie or Noli for short.

What about a variation of Chesty? That's the name of the Marine Corps mascot. They are on Chesty XIII.

"After the demise of the original Chesty, the replacement was named Chesty II. He became an instant renegade. You name it, he did it. He even escaped and went AWOL once. Two days later he was returned in a police paddy wagon. About the only thing he ever managed to do correctly was to sire a replacement."

It was pretty awesome LOL The guy was high as a kite when he re-named him.

I just thought about my parent's dog. Poor dog .... he's a akc german shepard and my mom has a thing for westerns. Trying to remember the danged movie she was obsessed with at the time that she gave the dog the same name. But his name on his papers is "Boss Bluebonnet Spearman"
