Use Murphy's oil soap you have to be careful on wood floors with a steamer it even says in the instructions I own a shark and previously owned an h20 mop but when I worked as a house leaner in college we used Murphy's oil soap I also have wood floors and use it

You have to be careful. You should only use a steam mop on sealed real wood floors. Not on laminate or unsealed or really old floors where the sealant has worn away. We use the Bona system. I vacuum on the flat floor setting then use the Bona.

As long as they are real wood floors, go ahead and mop and/or steam. If they are laminate, no steam and ring the crap out of your mop. I use my dyson digital slim on the floors, and mop normally. If we are having company I might use Murphy's, to make them shine.

Hoover floor mate my best friend ever. Vacuums, mops, and dries all in one. Oh and your floor will always look dirty after like 10 minutes its the joys of wood floors.
