What machines are there that are low impact for a messed up ankle?

I've already planned on the bikes...what about the elliptical?

Anything else?

Boo. I was going to say pool, as a swimmer I'm a tad bias, but the workout is killer.
I second the elliptical.

I do running in the pool in the deep end. Huge workout. Make sure that you're near the wall. I run upright in the deep end as fast as I can. It is hard as hell, but it is low impact and high heartrate and fat burning.
