Quoting Kellzzbellzz:" hahhahaha I feel ya. All I know is I can't wait to find out the sex. I think I might pay to have a gender scan at one of those 3D places earlier."

I am ! There are actually a few places that scan at 15 weeks for gender. Supposedly newer / better equipment allows for this. And yes, I do know that thre's always a chance it's not "accurate," but I'd say the same goes for any gender scan, lol.

Quoting Kenzie Doll.:" Hello! Just found this thread. I'm due August 14th with my second child. I'm actually showing a little which is a surprise to me. Anyone else due around the same time and showing?"

Hi and Welcome! I am due on 8/29 with my second and totally feel like I'm showing.... I had to buy a new bra, a whole cup size bigger, and I can't fit any of my jeans comfortably anymore.

Because I haven't had my first ultrasound I just wish I had some 'proof' lol. I mean, almost 3 months and no period is proof enough, but you know what I mean!
I look up pictures online and there's people with bellies at 6 weeks! And I mean, bellies .. not just a bloat.

I totally know what you mean. I got my first ultrasound at 6w 2d and only saw a little dot cuz I was so early. Won't get another ultrasound til the anatomy scan! Sometimes I still dont feel pregnant. I don't think I will until I feel movement. I do however have a doppler at home so hearing the heartbeat is awesome too :D so do you want a boy or girl? Or either one?

Is anyone else here considered a "high risk" pregnancy?

Everyone I know has boys so I'd love to have a girl for them to fight over, lol, but truthfully, it doesn't matter.
You?

I'm considered high risk because of my thyroid issues... It's weird tho b/c my first pregnancy wasn't considered high risk

My husband would love to not find out the gender but I'm too 'decorative' for that, lol. If it was my second baby, I think I'd be a bit more open to that idea, but for my first, I really want to know so I can decorate the room and get excited about clothes and stuff like that. I don't want 900 yellow onesies and a yellow room (not that there's anything wrong w/ yellow!).

I totally agree. I never could have done it with my first. Im going to struggle with this one but since it could be our last I real want to do it lol we have all of my sons clothes and everything still. If Its a girl the only thing we will need Is clothes, so I'd be going shopping once she was born! Lol I wanna do a cute little owl theme for this babys room. Some will call me crazy but I love purple and grey together for boy or girl, so I think I'm gonna use those Colors. And husband likes it too. I don't think purple is too girly as long as its not paired with pink or something like that

oh odd! did you have any issues with your first pregnancy? sometimes they label it high risk due to that?

I have an autoimmune disease which causes mine to be high risk.. i have to see a high risk ob soon plus a maternal fetal heart dr? So after about 20-22 weeks, i will be getting ultrasounds every 2-3 weeks to watch the baby's heart. Stressful ;/

Purple (like, a grey purple or mixed w/ neutral colours) is def good for either sex I'd think. My living room is actually purple (nothin crazy..).
I also LOVE the owl theme, I've seen so many cute little accessories everywhere.
Why do you say it's your last child potentially? We only want 1 (I know, we're boring). I'd like to say we are open to having more than 1, but as for right now, 1 is good!
