Quoting nursemaya (9weeks):" not sure really if it's ok. Technically I'm not supposed to soak in warm/hot water anyway since it makes ... [snip!] ... on? If you don't mind me asking - totally not my business LOL :) Nice to know someone that understands what I'm going through."

My symptoms through the first "year" before my diagnosis were so crazy and all over the place! But overall, it came down to joint pain.. It's especially worse in my kness/ankles/hips. My finger joints swell up a lot. bad headaches. dry eyes/dry mouth/dry vagina, which is probably tmi. lol. dizziness/fatigue.. muscle weakness... my legs frequently feel like they're giving out on me. or my arms. numbness in extermities

For awhiel I was having issues with not being able to function at all.. they thought it was adult ADD for awhile. I wouldnt' be able to concentrate or focus. I'd lose track of simple tasks, such as taking money out of my wallet to pay a cashier..

For meds, I was on Plaquenil, Naproxen, and a steroid. Overall, i can stay on the plaquenil and use the steroid sparingly if i need to.. but the "research results" they gave me about both meds was too scary for me to even consider. I use tylenol when i need it... and even then, i try to only use it once a day tops. I'm so paranoid about losing the baby since there is a higher miscarriage rate.

How long did everyone wait to tell their friends/family they were pregnant? I found out when i was barely 4 weeks, but I waited until Christmas to tell my mom.. I told my close friends prior.

My SO on the other hand JUST told his parents and one of his friends. It was actually the cause of a fight for awhile. ;[

I will be 10wks tmrw, does anybody know since this is my 6th pregnancy (5th baby) if I will be able to feel movement sooner. I can't remember when I felt movement in my last 2 pregnancies. Thanks! :)

I told my children and step children a few days ago after my last ultrasound.
Me and my husband got some plain white tees and write big brother, big sister and then wrapped them, My daughter was very clued on because she opened it and shout OMG mums having a baby, Our youngest said "Don't worry mum I wont bash it".
Good luck telling your kids here's the picture from the day :)
