Quoting Niyah&Leah are my heart:" I know what you mean. my doppler def. eases my mind."

After my last post about the doppler, I checked ebay & it was up over $40 (+$8 shipping) --- so it wasn't that much cheaper than just buying a new one. I mentioned it to hubby --- he said, well, let's just buy a new one.

Excited b/c last time, he didn't want to make that kind of purchase (thought it was a waste of money --- we're both careful savers & don't spend anything extra if we can help it lol), but I think he understands my anxiety after losing the last one and he's a little more open to it.

So, I checked my paypal balance (I'd sold a cocktail dress & two coach purses last fall). I thought I had about $25 ---- turns out, I had $84! More than enough & I didn't have to feel guilty b/c this is my "play money" that I decided I could do anything with :) So I bought it... it's coming next week!!

You know, I don't even care about the gender --- I just want to get to a place where I'm not so anxious & I feel like I can finally BUY something.. lol

I believe that you're only allowed to use it twice a week the most.

I've read that as the baby's hearing develops, the sound waves are annoying and I've read posts from women on another site who said that they could feel their baby moving away from the wand when they did it later in pregnancy.

I've never read anything that said it was HARMFUL... (in fact, I looked up an irish research paper about the use on mice & cell division being really very low)... but I just don't think that continuous use sounds like something that would be comfortable for the baby

11 weeks tomorrow yay.
My symptoms have really been fading any one else around this gestation and symptoms fading?
I am going away (On a cruise this week coming for 8 nights to the pacific islands) kind of not looking forward to it, any one else been pregnant and gone cruising any suggestions even if you haven't been on a criuse?

Gosh, I can't imagine being on vacation & not being able to drink or really celebrate --- but at least ONE good thing is that you're early on --- I'm sure it would be FAR worse to be carrying a big ol' belly around !

Have fun!!
