Quoting 3.24.10 ♥ 9.10.11:" Lmao. That's how DH and I look at each other when we can't figure it out. Just a blank stare like wtf do we do now?"

LOL.

It's also hard for me to talk to my son since he is very speech delayed, so I mean he can't tell me exactly wtf is going on anyway. but he does tend to get better after a little time out or whatever. just space away, haha.

I think I really need to look into getting a book. He also has a hard time expressing his feelings and immediately turns to frustration and sad.

Like today, we went to an indoor play place, it was full of bounce houses and then has a play room for dress up, cars, trains etc. He's always been terrified of the bounce houses so we spent all our time in the play room. There was a little girl that came to sit next to him with like a tea set. He went to play with her and grabbed a cup and she freaked out and said "No, that's mine! I was playing first!" He immediately looked at me and got so sad and started crying :(

He's overly sensitive and gets so worked up, then it turns into a huge temper tantrum.

Oh no :( I miss my little guy being like 10 months old. I think that was my favorite age, 6-12 months. He was so sweet, and easy lol

It can be very hard, but it will get better. It's hard to choose the right book, and I find that I read them and just choose what I think will work best.. I've also gotten a lot of help from The Dicipline Book by Dr. Sears. It's for ages birth to 11. I really hope you can grab a few good days to recharge. Hang in there :)

Thank you! I've heard good things about Dr Sears and have liked some of the stuff I have been by him.

That's a really neat idea!! It would be very easy to make too.

I really don't know why I keep putting it off  Think I will be going to the craft store tomorrow, he would probably enjoy making it too!

My DD just turned 3 recently and I SWEAR she turned into a little monster a few weeks before her birthday. I don't know how we are going to get through this either, LOL.

I feel so bad that he is acting like this and I'm not understanding. But I'm seriously going to lose my sanity soon. As much as I wish no one else was going through it, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was starting to think I just wasn't cut out to be a mom and couldn't handle having kids.

My son who is 8 was not like this. I could easily redirect him or give him a warning but my DD just pushes and pushes. She is so stubborn and she doesn't forget so as soon as she thinks you have forgotten she will be right back to what she was doing.

It's odd, because my son is very co-dependent. I didn't expect him to be like this. No means absolutely nothing to him, and he will not listen to anything I say to him.

My DD though (15 months) is my very stubborn, independent child. So far she listens pretty well, but like you said, as soon as she thinks I have forgotten or am not paying attention, she's back to doing what she was. They're sneaky!

LOL My son has always been very dependent on me to be at his side. He still doesn't spend much time in his room because he likes to be around me. My DD is so independent and doesn't really care where I am as long as she can be off doing her own thing.
