You can give him some multi symptom cold with tylenol but he does need to go to the drs as soon as you can. My daughter had these same symptoms last week & had strep throat

I was going to take him to urgent care (which isnt open at night). but my mil said there wasn't anything they could do but give an antibiotic. which I understand he needs, I just can't get in for another couple hours. that's why I said is there anybody who knows of immediate relief

I don't know if this is still recommended but a couple drops of warm (not hot) sweet oil in the ears and tylanol is what my mom used on me. I had a lot of ear infections.

Similsan ear ache drops if you can find them somewhere, I used them a few years back and it was honestly instant relief. Ear aches are the worst! I hope you can find something that works! Rotate Tylenol & Motrin for pain relief

They sell numbing drops for ears. I use them for my sob once he says his ears hurt so he is not in pain then, make a drs apt asap. Sounds like he needs to see the drs asap though! It will only get worse!!
