<blockquote><b>Quoting Chroma Hex [+1]:</b>" I went to school with a guy named Ivory. It really suited him, but I think it's a girl's name normally. I usually don't like names that are nouns, though. "</blockquote>

Wouldn't Ivory be an adjective bacause it's describing something? Lol.
a noun is a person, place, or thing.

Ivory is also a special type of bone. Haven't you heard of illegal elephant poaching for their ivory tusks? It's not a color, it's a material in that situation.

But, regardless, I'm not a fan of adjectives as names either when it comes to colors and things...except for Scarlet. I kind of really dig Scarlet for some reason. And Gray. If I ever have a son his name will be Oliver Gray lol.

I kind of like it, it's definitely not bad though. I much prefer Ivy though.

I personally am not so fond of it. It is one of the softer sweeter noun/adjective names but it just isn't in my top list of names. Then again I like my names a little off the wall.

No and I would say unisex. But I'm not a fan
