Afraid not. My grandma said to try a little bit of cinnamon in it.

Milk eggs and cinnamon.

I have never heard of vanilla being in the mix until a week or so ago when someone asked how people made it on here. Lol

I've only ever done eggs, milk, and cinnamon as well. Nothing else.

I use milk, eggs, and cinnamon...a few times I threw in sugar when I didn't have cinnamon.

That's all I use. Milk, eggs and lots of cinnamon. I usually have to add more. Dammit I wish I had everything to make it. No cinnamon here. Or syrup.

I always use milk, eggs and sugar. (this is on the very rare occasion I make french toast lol) I didn't even know you were meant to use cinnamon.

Milk, eggs and cinnamon in the mixture ... it's nice to have vanilla as well but if you don't, you don't. I usually use all 4. Now I want french toast, lol
