I think it's very important. Can relationships survive without it? Yes, but it's a big part of relationships. Especially when extreme intimacy is your norm

I've been on meds before and that's the sucky part of meds because they can change how u feel and make ur body not want to do things...

Question is how bad does he need these meds, he already acknowledged they have changed his hormone imbalance... dosnt change that he loves u... just something u as a partner have to help him work thru, my husband started doing a date night and eventually it got me into the mood,

Even when I don't want him near me I grab his hand just so he knows I do still care...

I def understand.
How bad does he need the meds? Maybe try setting aside one day a week for "bonding". A movie at home, a date, etc. just one on one time for the two of you with no distractions

its actually been proven to be the #1 thing that can keep a marriage together through anything else and also the lack of can make it fall apart. It doesnt mean its the ONLY thing that contributes to a successful relationship, but it is extremely important. If my husband didnt want to to touch me Id be so upset. And it eventually wears on you, you get used to not touching as much and this is where infidelities start to make way into relationships (Im not at all saying you would njust making a reference!)

Maybe have him look into male hormone injections or testosterone pills or something, it should balance it out.

SO and I rarely have sex. It's even more of a rare occurrence since I've been pregnant. But tbh it doesn't really bother me. I feel like I don't NEED sex. I mean when it happens it's good. But we are more of the lil affectionate types....like having morning cuddles in bed, a lil pash before he goes to work, or even just holding hands while watching tv or something like that.
I do think that intimacy is very important in a maintaining a healthy relationship, but it doesn't have to be sex, it can just be the littlest things that make the difference :)
