It was unnecessary to point out.

I wouldn't say anything, whether they were young parents or not. I don't know how that would Hav made a difference to you.

The baby would probably be uncomfortable but it's not nearly as dangerous as a FFing carseat.

We had DS in one one day because we for got our stroller at home and our friend had than one in her car. It was just the one day. Not like we used it all the time. I would have been mad if someone had called me out on it. Just cause they saw me use it once doesn't mean I always did.

Quoting the grace life:" Agreed. How is that the same as FF? It may be uncomfortable, I suppose....or perhaps its not. I know the one we had like that reclined as needed. "

because when a car seat is RF they are lying down pretty much, FF they are sitting up. It was the same stroller have, which doesnt recline at all. Isnt it bad for their necks and back :/

Seriously, Im 20, I probably would have got a stroller when LO was smaller but my mum told me not to.
As I said maybe they dont now better so someone should say something.

I'm sorry what? You didn't buy/use a stroller when your baby was young? Why not?

Meh. You see someone hit their kid? You say something. You see someone using a stroller you don't like? You don't say anything.

That's how I feel.

The RF/FF debate is about safety. It is much safer to be RF in a car. It isn't about whether laying down or sitting up.

Not one like that! I used a proper one that reclined, also hers didnt have a hood so her baby was not even protected from the sun.
I didnt start using one like that (with a hood) until LO was nearly 1.

Yea, you sound really silly right now....can't lie. I think this is a really silly thing to get worked up over.

RFing just lessens the impact if there's a car accident so unless you're pushing that stroller at super human speeds it is not dangerous for a newborn to ride in an umbrella stroller.

I wouldn't liken it to FF'ing an infant, but strollers like that are so bad on their little back/spines, they offer no support and are not recommended before 6 mo of age. Unless she was a personal friend/family, I wouldn't say anything...

This really isn something to get upset over. Lol and it's certainly not something to potentially offend someone over by bringing it up, especially a complete stranger. Travel systems are expensive and a nice stroller will run you at least 75 dollars while an umbrella stroller costs what? 20 dollars? Leave them alone.
I wore my babies as newbs so I didn't use a stroller at all. But this is really not something to make an issue of. Lol
