It probably wasnt your whole mucus plug and it has time to regenerate itself. Just take it easy.

It's fine. It can regenerate. No biggie.

Relax. It's common to lose it at that time. It doesn't mean your going into labor. If you want to, though, tell your doctor although he'll probably just reassure you all is well.

it regenerates, some people lose pieces week and weeks before they deliver..its not an indication of anything. Just pay attention to your body..if you feel like somethings going on, call your dr.

It's normal for your cervix to start changing a bit at this point. That doesn't mean labor is going to happen tomorrow or anything. You might not even be dilated at all yet. At 35 weeks last pregnancy, I lost my plug at 32 weeks and was 2 to 3 cm's dilated until i was induced (due to medical reasons) at 39 weeks. Again if you're ever worried, your dr's are there to answer your questions.

No way. There had to be other issues.

yes, obviously i had other issues, but the plug was just another symptom. they never determined why exactly i delivered early. other than a few irregular contractions and the loss of the plug, there were no other symptoms.

I started dilating/effacing at 34 weeks (3 cm. and 60%). I lost my mucus plug at 35 weeks (4 cm), and I have been 5 cm. and 100% effaced since 36 weeks. I will be 39 weeks on Thursday. Nothing to be concerned about.
