Vitamin E.... but most remedies don't completely fade scars.

Vitamin e oil. I get the small capsules and use a needle to pop a small hole in them. I use that for my piercings, though. You could also try tea tree oil

You might not be able to. I used to self-mutilate when I was a teenager, then I was abused by my ex-husband. I still have very distinct scars (on both wrists) from both situations that never faded.

Try cocoa butter.
It can help, but depending on how bad they are they may never fade.

Hope your brother gets the help he needs. :)

I'd try stuff with lots of moisture. Coconut oil maybe?
Unfortunately most of us who have cut will carry the scars for life

Honestly.... help him focus on healing his heart and head, don't put too much focus on fading the scars.

depends on how fresh and deep they are. it'll just take time and experimenting with different things. id say dont stick with using just one thing either, cause you never know. wish you the best of luck :)
