I'm throwing my son his first birthday party this weekend.
So far for the "Menu" I have...
Punch: Fruit punch and sprite mixed together with sherbert scooped in it.
Chili con queso dip my grandma is making from scratch its soooo good.
Salami roll ups: cream cheese rolled up in a slice of salami
Cucumbers sandwhiches shaped like mustaches : cucumber adn boursin cheese on wheat bread.
And im going to attempt chocolate mustaches on vanilla cupcakes with the "cloud" frosting.

idk what else to make, I thought about possibly Cheese fondue recipe my mom makes which is SOOO easy you throw it in the crock pot.
or the buffalo chicken dip?
i dont watn ALLL dips, so IDK what else to really do.

I had sprite with hawaiian ounch ice cubes..that was fun.

& chicken salad sandwitches. Just canned chicken, miracle whip, dried cranberries and pineapples.

Those both were the huge hits...that and chocolate covered strawberries..and the 4 cakes that everyone brought

Just a suggestion as it's a little less sugary, but maybe try club soda with your fruit punch instead of sprite?? Might take away a bit of the sweetness especially if you're putting scoops of sherbert in it.

As for foods what about like a pasta salad or potatoe salad? Maybe some mini sausage rolls or something???

Just an FYI, if you do, do mini sandwiches...it's sooo much easier to cut the bread if it's slightly toasted
