Anyone drank this before? I picked some up basically because it said "stress relief" and because you can't get Valium OTC. reading the side of the box though, it has a shit ton of warnings. It also said not to use if you were pregnant or breastfeeding. :? Anyone know why? Is it, like the same concept as alcohol?

KAVA ROOT | 'ROOT OF FASCINATION ' | Kava Root, also known as Kava Kava, is a wondrous root with many enchanting properties and socially-uplifting traditions that embody it. For centuries, Pacific Islanders have regarded Kava Kava as their
national drink, using it not only in religious ceremonies, but also in casual social settings (passing a cup of it around the fire circle at night with conversa
tion, singing, & dancing), to treat a variety of ailments (pain, insomnia, etc.), and for its effective relaxation abilities. The smell of Kava can be described as peppery, floral, articulate, and distinguished. Kava Root is superior for anxiety-related conditions / states. Additionally, Kava: increases focus, enriches & intensifies sparks of creativity / whimsy, can deplete walls of social inhibitions causing one to be more comfortable in their own skin (why it is popular for social gatherings), and can also intensify experiences during meditation (which offers an increased level of self-awareness). One unique & memorable aspect of drinking Kava is that it has a numbing effect on the tongue that comes on rather quickly. As a result, this makes Kava quite helpful when encountering toothaches, throat, and / or gum pain. It is also interesting to note that of the natives that drink Kava regularly (non-dependent of diet choices) showed virtually zero cancer rates. Because of this, more research is being done now and for good reason. This is one of the most memorable Earth foods you're likely to have and can turn any dull evening into one of enjoyable fascination. For Kava, it is recommended to source a pure extract from Vanuatu, which is the small island in the South Pacific where the purest / strongest Kava can be found.

I love this tea. I think they have to put that warning on anything that is considered a dietary supplement. Oh, it puts me to sleep fast!
