Quoting ~~My Pet Wussy~~:" <blockquote><b>Quoting CaityCakes:</b>" So, some posted this on facebook today... ... [snip!] ... You should go "pray" for the dead children, their families and the witnesses, instead of posting this nonsense,"

God is allowed anywhere if someone wants him in their heart and mind.

Quoting GavinsMomJohnnysWife:" What is your stance? "

I think that seperation of church and state is a good thing, I don't want anybody shoving religion down my child's throat. I'm gonna let her decide for herself what she believes in. And I don't think that God not being "allowed" in schools has anything to do with the recent events. Like, it could have been prevented had there been some kind of religious intervention or something. I don't know, I really suck at expressing my views, but this just rubbed me the wrong way.

Or that it was his "will" for it to happen

Yes, this is exactly what I was trying to say, but you said it so much better.

I have been told that if i pray to god enough I won't lose this baby---

As though if I had prayed a little harder I wouldn't have lost the other SIX.

People are sick!

Did you tell them to shut their mouth before you shoved a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat up their ass?

It's sickening to see people spouting that shit, at a time like this.

Also, just to clarify, I don't agree with the shirt at all.

I think it's insulting to imply that God wouldn't protect innocent children just because religion isn't practiced in the classroom.

And I'm really sorry if I offended anyone, it wasn't my intention.

I think you should tell the person who posted that to stop posting stupid, insensitive bullshit. Tell them that devout christian doesn't equal bullet proof.

I think that a god that claims omnipotence and then wouldn't help someone out of spite is a pretty shitty god.

My gods can be spiteful but they own up to that shit.

Right?
A god that wouldn't save innocent children from slaughter out of spite isn't worth worshiping, in my opinion.

Why though if someone believes in God do others automatically think they believe in a god that's spiteful and causes stuff like that? The God I believe in doesn't cause or interfere with the actions of humans. However I do believe that the Devil does involve himself in things like that.

The shirt implies that type of god. I'm not saying the Christian god is necessarily like that.
