I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I went to Walmart last night... I've never tried egg nog and I saw this, southern comfort egg nog spiced with vanilla and figured it sounded good and that I'd buy some. Also it says ultra-pasturized on the carton. After I got home I thought about something I didn't think about in the store. Is raw egg already mixed in store bought egg nog? And is it something I shouldn't be drinking?

Store bought pasteurized is fine, it's the homemade you have to be wary of.

Store bought egg nog is fine to have.

And there's no alcohol in it.

No, it's non-alcoholic. :) It has the recipe on the side that you use to mix it with southern comfort

southern comfort is a sour mash (kinda like whiskey) not a rum and i'm sure it's just the brand name like jack daniel's bbq sauce if she bought it in a grocery store.
