Hmm if you inject formaldehyde and then eat rat poison and surfactant then you might feel a little weird. If bath salts can make you eat someones face why can't these other chemicals alter your brain and body?

I'd be more inclined to think that too - but I wen ton a birth control pill that made me a raving b***h. I had a seriously difficult time holding my tongue at all - I wanted to actually be aggressive physically (I wasn't ) etc- and I was in a GOOD place mentally going on it. I was happy, REALLY happy at that time in my life. I am normally really good natured, easy going, described as "bubbly & sweet" and I was borderline psycho. I was just needing something to shrink some ovarian cysts I was getting. If something that isn't supposed to mess with brain chemistry can do that to someone, then what does actually manipulated brain chemicals have the potential to do? And BTW - I am sure LOTS oif women took teh pill that mad eme nuts with NO problems....that is how they have a customer base. :)

Well said and I always have a . In between every word or a crazy random auto corrected word lol

People don't realize we are all different and things don't affect everyone the same. Some people have lower tolerances

Not the sole cause but I go think they all go hand in hand. It starts as a baby with chemical ridden vaccines and formula then the daily exposures to chemicals. Throw in genetically modified foods and then some chemical ridden medications with side effects. There are only so many things a body and brain can handle. The blood brain barrier doesn't close until like 7 so imagine what children are exposed too. The skin is the biggest organ.of the body and every time shampoo, soap and lotion is applied that has the same ingredients as a car degreaser or floor cleaner, there are found to be side effects.

I def am horribly upset over the killing of those children and do not excuse his actions in the slighest. I'm disgusted and I cry when I think about I but I just think the dots need to.be connected. Kwim

I get what your saying.
I guess it's a hard topic to really chose what side I agree with because I agree on some and not the other.
My birth control makes me more moody too. I have mood swings because of it. So I totally get that part.
So much to think about, really.

Wasn't it determined the guy was not on bath salts. Pretty sure they ended up saying he was on weed.

Things are so different in the US too.

About 5% of our kids are on ADHD meds by age 6-12 yrs old.
That is more than twice the average in Australia (they have 1-2 per 100).
In England they say 2-5% have it - not all are medicated.
And they have quadrupled their prescriptions in the last decade in England: http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2012/may/06/ritalin-adhd-shocks-child-psychologists

All the while knowing that there are risks & damage - like cerebral atrophy - that's right - it shrinks the brain to take stimulants in childhood. It is also known for sure to be related to development of depression in later adolescents & adulthood as well as anxiety disorders when compared to children who are not medicated.

And then there is the fact that "chemical imbalance" is a total myth that we've heard so often we believe it is true. No chemical imbalance has ever been shown or proven - we just ADD chemicals to the brain & see if we think that it's better or worse when we do & if we think it's better we declare we are treating a chemical imbalance. http://www.afterpsychotherapy.com/chemical-imbalance-in-your-brain/

Lol I love the avoidance...

There were other "zombie" and bath salt attacks. One guy ate a live dog.

Yup. I compared a box of nutigrsin bars from.the us and ukulele. The us is full of chemicals, gmo gluten and dyes.
The ukulele one had like 6 ingredients using real not hydrated fruit and no corn syrup or dyes. They used beets as a dye. Its crazy how the USA allows things in our daily products. I import my organic baby formula from Germany.

What? I don't even know if that one matters to the overall idea of violent outbursts because if you look into it - he had a history of violence no matter what his family & friends say to newspapers. He held his mom hostage & was threatening to kill her a few years before that....on police record, as he was the first person in his county to be taken down with a stun gun. :/

Even so - people just don't randomly get naked & eat someone face off. Most likely he ingested something we'll never know about like this Dr suggests:
"The problem today is that there is an almost an infinite number of chemical substances out there that can trigger unusual behavior," said Dr. Bruce Goldberger, Professor and Director of Toxicology at the University of Florida.
"There are many of these synthetic drugs that we currently don't have the methodology to test on, and that is not the fault of the toxicology lab. The challenge today for the toxicology lab is to stay on top of these new chemicals and develop methodologies for them but it's very difficult and very expensive." Goldberger said. "There is no one test or combination of tests that can detect every possible substance out there."

I think it is quite amazing that people are in so much denial about just how much crap we are exposed to just in food. I remember watching a documentary about the stuff that is put in food in the US and I couldn't believe it, you guys have so much stuff in your food that would NEVER be allowed in our food over here because it's deemed to be harmful. Particularly children's sweets!! We are literally allowed nothing artificial in sweets here at all but your sweets are loaded with crap :?

Lol! You can source more natural flavours, colours, etc. That's what Nestle and everyone else does for the UK. I think it was probably about 6 years ago there was a big outrage about some additives still being in sweets and there was extensive research done that linked them to hyperactivity and other behavioural issues in children and well that was it all the major companies completely pulled all artificial crap out their kids sweets. We do not allow a lot of the chemicals you guys use across the board in food here too because of the links to mental health problems..... It could still be much improved though. Aspartame is a major issue that is in all diet drinks, gum, etc that really shouldn't be allowed IMO.
