So I only missed one day last month (my first month on it). I take it around the same time everyday, an hour or so difference at most, is it not effective at all anymore? My OB told me that since it isn't the mini pill, I can be a little off on the times and still be protected, but I don't know since I've never been on any BC before I got pregnant with Aria.

Someone told me that being a little late on it counts as missing it and that I should just stop taking it. I don't want to stop if I don't need to though, but to top it off I have been getting some pregnancy symptoms the last week or so. I do plan on testing in the next few days, and again in 2 weeks if it's negative.

The combo pill is not as precise as the mini pill. I was on a combo pill in the past and I would miss days and take it at all different times and I never got pregnant on it. I would just keep taking the pills unless you get a + on a test.

Okay thank you. I was super worried since my friend was on the pill for years and she's the one who told me that they weren't gonna work for me now. But she also decided a few months ago that it was okay to go without BC and condoms  The exact same way I got pregnant lol. So I wasn't sure if her advice about the pill was totally right haha.

That's what mine told me too, and I waited a month while I was on it to consider myself protected. I'm EBF so I haven't really gotten a "period" yet, just random spotting so it's hard to tell when I should've started it-which is the main reason my OB said to wait a month.

if u r breastfeeding then you are on the minipill(progesterone only)....atleast that is what the doctor should of given you.(which needs to be taken w/in a hour of the same time every to be effective)

That's what I thought it was, but she specifically told me she wasn't prescribing the mini-pill even though I am BF. She told me it doesn't matter since when I got on it I had been BF for 9 weeks (She had me have a late PP appointment instead of 6 weeks)

Sprintec. I called right after it was prescribed and kinda panicked and asked if it was okay. They said if my milk was stable then it was all good. Everything seems fine
