It would be ok, if you spelled it Emerson.

I have to agree. I would go Emerson.

And yes, Mae goes well with it. A little bit country, but it goes.

ok so just leave it spelled normal... thats prob a good idea esp since its already such a different girls name.

Mae was my great grandmas middle name... but i am up for opinions if you have something that sounds better.. ive been struggling!

I get that vibe, too.
I also agree with another mama- I think Mae is a very common middle name.

Emersyn is masculine and misspelled - you can do a billion times better.

seems too masculine to me.... although it IS unisex. which is weird to me, because the definition of Emerson is SON of Emery.

either way though, i wouldn't use it on a little girl.

Mae is a cute "country name" imo, but it is a common MN.

if you're going for the NN Emmy, what about Emmaline(Em-uh-lyn)?
Emmaline Mae sounds cute.

Me, too. But I think Emerson Odette sounds so beautiful; so it's my favorite of the bunch. :)

I think too many people would pronounce that "Em-uh-line". Which isn't cute. If I was to use that name (which I wouldn't, because I'm not really a fan) I think I'd go with Emmalynn.
