Suggestions on the spelling of my baby's name Snuggzie Due February 14 (girl); Virginia 46 posts

Me and my fiance both decided on the name Kayleeana (Kay-lee-ona). But after looking at it for awhile we figured it was too long and didn't play well on the eyes. So we changed it to KALIANA.

His mom and aunt are the ones who actually showed us the spelling of Kaliana and so we decided to go with that because we liked the way it looked better then the way we had it spelled. We took that spelling around October 24th, right after we figured out we were having a little girl. But then yesterday.... all of a sudden (out of nowhere) they tell us that they think the name should be spelled Kaylianna or Kaeliana. They prefer it this way because both names actually have the KAY and KAE instead of just KALIANA (I hope that makes sense).

I don't mind suggestions, don't get me wrong, but the main reason they want to change the spelling is because they can't find a meaning for the name Kaliana anywhere on the internet plus his sister is going to put the baby's name on something and I'm guessing she's wanting to convince me to change it to the way she likes it so that she can put it on the baby gift (whatever it is).

Am I wrong for being annoyed with the fact that they keep wanting to change the spelling?

Also which way looks better to you?

Kaylianna
Kaliana
or Kaeliana

TIA for all answers!!

Honestly none of those look good. Yeah I'd be annoyed if they kept changing the spelling of something too but then again there's really only 2 ways to spell Peyton that are actually correct. Are you set on using that name?

One. It's not their baby it's yours. You get too choose the fucking name ad they have no say.

Two. That name is bad. It has no meaning, it's long and it's got too many weird letters. It's just a bad name.

Pretty set on it, we both liked it because it's different and just thought it sounded good. Plus I wanted something different and I've never heard of anyone with that name (atleast not where I'm from)

If they pronounced Kaliana as Kal-i not Kay-lee they wouldn't be mispronouncing it. That is how that spelling would be pronounced.

You really can't just spell a name one way and pronounce it differently than the spelling. Well you can, but no one is going to know how to say their name.

Kaliana - Keep it straight forward and simple. You're not finding a meaning because it's made-up, not because you're using one N over two.
