I think if they ban our 2nd admendment they are looking for WW3 in this nation. Plus its not going to stop the bad guys who will get guns illegally.

I feel the government should leave our guns alone and worry about mental health care.

Our 2nd amendment rights need to be left alone. Guns are not the problem. Our healthcare industry is, specifically mental health.

Where I live guns aren't readily available like they are in states. Our cops don't even carry guns. I don't actually know...
Ban them how, altogether? Or just with tighter restrictions?

Ban them like everyday people would not be able to own them. We wouldnt be able to protect ourselves against those who illegally obtain them.

Our president was even bringing guns over the Mexican border. He says guns arent necessary but everyone in his secret service owns one.

The 2nd ammendment was written to protect the people from the tyranny of government. If that was taken away, I'd be afraid for our country.

I don't think banning them will change anything - it's the attitudes not the guns. The only people that have them here are authorities, criminals and hunters (and collectors, but there aren't tons of those). Yet, you rarely hear of gun related "accidents" - most are involving guns are gang related (on other gangs) and if a gun is used in something like a robber, you rarely hear of them actually being discharged.

Attitudes are just different I think, we don't think we NEED guns, and we don't. Don't know how else to explain that to make what Im trying to say make sense lol

I've never felt the need to have a gun. I've never wanted one. I know only a handful of people that have them, and they are all for hunting. I just don't understand why (it seems) like everyone in the US NEEDS a gun?

A mutual friend on facebook (from the US) said that she carries here's so she can "put down someone who tries to attack her". I've never even felt the need to worry about someone attacking me! I think that it breeds more fear, which can lead to accidents.
