I work 8 hour days 3-4 days a week and he stays with grandma two blocks over. He's been potty trained for about a month now minus naps and bedtime where he still wears a diaper. He has only had ONE accident and it was on purpose and it was at home when he was mad at me. When do I stop bringing spare clothes/undies with us to grandmas? I'm so sick of lugging extra stuff. I could leave outfit and undies there, but I fear them being used on the other grandkids if she forgets they're Christopher's stuff (aside from the labeling I guess I could do). When did you quit carrying spare clothes and undies around in public as well?

EDIT: She has a key to our house and lives two blocks over. I guess she could come over here if she needed spare clothes or undies?? That might be a better idea...

Would their be a good way I could keep his stuff separate from the other grand kids that I send over there? We were having issues with his diapers being used on the other babies, that's why I began taking a diaper bag.

I would just get a backpack and let him wear it (they like that stuff). Accidents can happen at any time.

I haven't stopped, i mean is one extra change of clothes lugging that much around? You could just keep the same set in a grocery sack in your car.

I would just leave some extra stuff there. What's the issue if she accidentally uses them for one of the other kids?

My LO is 4 and I still carry around a spare set of clothes. Even kindergarteners have accidents when they refuse to stop playing to go potty. Better safe than sorry.

Because the stuff would then be sent home on the other grandkid and never come back. I can't afford to supply clothes/undies/diapers for the other kids when I'm barely providing it for MY OWN child... I guess that's my reasoning otherwise it wouldn't matter to me.

I guess I could just leave spare clothes in the back of each car...

Yup I have an older outfit I leave in the car with spare undies you never know when they'll need it. DS has been potty trained for 2 years next month and rarely has accidents. Just yesterday he accidently sharted. He's 4 it happens. Better to have a spare there then have to buy something or have him run around nakid. You could buy an outfit from Walmart for $4-5 bucks that you don't care about to leave over there.

This. What's the problem with the other grandkids using his stuff sometimes? They're his cousins and I'm sure it's not just his stuff that gets use for other kids, I'm sure he ends up in he other kids' stuff sometimes too. Just leave stuff there for her.

Then put the clothes in a big ziplock bag with your kids name written on it with a sharpie.

That's what we have for him for grandmas and out in public, but somehow I ALWAYS end up carrying it out the door along with his lunch box, my lunch box, my purse, etc. My hands are so full going to and from work Lol I guess just leave a sack at her house with his name on it. And label EACH diaper (since they were all being used on the other grandchildren). Like I said to someone else, no biggie, but I'm broke right now :-/
