ok i know these are probably lame but bare with me!

1. is it possible that the 3 hour test could be wrong? ( i just started testing today and got 84 and 85 so far as my readings)

2. if im getting these 84 85 readings is it going away? ( i realize this is my first day testing)

i may come up with more questions as time goes lol

I would think the three hour test is fairly accurate.

As for the readings, it all depends on when you are taking them, how long its been since you ate, etc.

It can just be what you're eating. If you are eating good and controlling it with diet then that's where the numbers should be.

What / how often are you eating and how long after eating do you test?

I had GD but I was eating so healthy that my numbers were always low like that. It didn't mean I was "cured" just that things were controlled.

I always tested an hour after eating. So your numbers are definitely fine. It doesn't mean it has went away.

I dunno, I would ask your doctor about it.

Mine is in the 85-120 range when I do 15-30 for breakfast, 35-45 for lunch & dinner, and 15-20 for snacks, so you're able to eat a bit more and it's still that low. I'd keep a check for a week or so, then ask your doc if it's never any higher.

I was so adamant against insulin that I ate the same.exact.thing. every single day for the last 12 weeks of my pregnancy. It sucked at times but I was never hungry so that was good. lol

Just my daughter. She was my first and only pregnancy to reach that point. IDK about this current pregnancy. I am only 18 weeks so I'll know in a few weeks.

Well it's probably just well controlled, but the dr and diabetic specialist told me they believed that I wasn't actually gd. I had a sprained ankle for a week before my testing and they believe that lack of exercise and the injury affected my test results.
I even passed an in office test my dr performed just to see by drinking the drink and finger pricking and I still passed.
We didn't chance it tho and treated it as if I did have it.
