mucus plug? (tmi) M+1 1 child; Ballarat, Australia 1565 posts

for those who have lost your mucus plug (past, and present) just wondering if this sounds like it's bits of my plug.

twice today it felt a little wet down there, and i looked... it was white/clearish 'snot' looking discharge, but there wasn't much. it also dries to white. does your mucus plug always have to have a tinge of pink, or red?

thanks for any feedback!

Mine has always been green and super gooey, like snot. It would take a LONG time to dry if I were to try. Sounds like discharge to me.

No, mine was clear it looked like you blew your nose on the toilet paper when you have a bad cold.

sounds like normal pregnancy discharge.

either way... unless you're preterm... losing your plug doesn't mean anything

Exactly. I've lost my plug 3 times during this pregnancy... last time there was blood in it (on Xmas day) and here I am, 38w2d still pregnant.

Mine was either clear .. like rubber cement or tinged with blood. Every time it's happened, there was huge amounts of goo. Not just a little bit, but I'm sure people can lose bits and pieces here and there.
