Can they hurt the baby's ears in utero? SO and I went out to see TSO last night, and it was really loud in there... obviously the baby was awake and moving, but he was kicking me almost non-stop... probably angry kicks... I put my purse over my belly to kind of muffle the sound and he calmed down a bit, but I was just wondering if I really could have hurt him...

Can being at a concert while pregnant cause deafness or ear problems with him...? Should I be worried...? (I already am worried...) :(

I went to multiple concerts when LO was in my belly. His hearing is perfectly fine. :D

I went to some loud shows when I had my son. Lol, it's funny saw this topic....I just got back from the store, I stopped for gas and left my phone plugged in with music playing, I turned the car back on and the music blasted and it must have startled baby, it was really weird. (I'm only 18 weeks).

your baby is fine, don't worry. I was all paranoid going to our annual fireworks too and my midwife laughed.

also, TSO is so entertaining. I've been twice it was great!

The show was great! I was just worried about him the whole time so that's the only thing that mildly killed it for me. I guess they changed up their show this year, but it was AWESOME! Chalk it up to me being all paranoid I guess. I'm already high risk, so every little thing I do I sometimes freak out. Glad to know my OB would have laughed at me too if I had asked her about it. :D

Lol! I love the irony! (Your answer was meant to be. haha!) :D

You know, maybe that's just what happened. Maybe he was just startled by the loud noises. I guess I can live with myself if I just scared him a little bit. :)
