IDK but I would be at L&D looking them in the face asking that same question while demanding they induce me... Sorry to hear you are going through that. Good luck and best wishes

Go to L&D. Shortness of breathe is a sign of pre-e i believe.

This souds weird but I felt my early labor contractions more in my chest and it made it feel like it was hard to breathe. I WAS able to breathe just fine, just felt like an increase in pressure if that makes any sense at all.

I couldn't breathe when I was induced and a week later had the same problem followed by two seizures. Not saying same will happen to her but if it is bothering you get checked.

I felt the pressure up in my throat too. It was weird, but as my labor progressed I didn't feel it as much or maybe just my stomach hurt too much for me to notice lol.
