i hate the fact that Canada has banned them i think they are great! they say they are a danger because of children falling in them but if your supervising your child like you are supposed to with all infant stuff that wouldn't happen! sorry a bit of a rant but i think it is so stupid!:x my boys would have so much fun with them!

Walkers? Do you mean those seats that kids can move with their feet?

:? That is ridiculous. That'd be like banning pillows because babies have suffocated from them.

Our pedi told us not to use one with DD. They do something to their hips.

i had spoke to my doctor about it and he said it is good for them the movement strengthens their hips and legs just as a baby would in a jolly jumper jumperoo ect.

The walker I had for my 2yr old was so 'safety this, anti that' that she couldn't actually move in it at all lol. But yea that's dumb.

It does, but in the wrong way. Like, if a bone breaks and you set it any old way, it will heal itself, but not necessarily in the right way.

So do carseats. And exersaucer things. And johnny jumpers. And baby carriers like the bjorn style. If used too often and too much.
