I had severe perinatal mood disorder (formerly termed post partum depression) with my son, he is 3 yrs old as of december 10th. I am pregnant with #3, a surprise :}, & due in augustt. I did anxietnot have any depression/anxiety with my daughter who is now 5 1/2. Any advice? I am one semester away from being eligible to sit for my state boards as an RN, and believe me I am well educated and very empathetic towards other mamas. But when it comes to myself....not so much. Any advice? Anyone have it and then what were your experiences with next baby?

be alert and know that the second you feel like you may be suffering from PPD, you need to go to the doctor.

I still had PPD from my first when my second was born and honestly it went right away. I had never felt better and I still feel great 10 months later.
