Awe. K needs help calming down once she starts crying, I don't even know why I though CIO would have worked since I knew she needed help calming down. I don't mind co-sleeping since its just the three of us and when she falls asleep in the front room she'll walk into our room when she wakes for water LOL

Quoting KNZ.:" i wouldn't mind Clara deciding that :D "

She probably will eventually. It was a surprising thing with our oldest, only she won't sleep in her bed. She sleeps on the floor next to her bed lol. She just kind of decided to do it one day, just like couple weeks ago she asked her Dad to put her on the potty. She's a growing too fast.

I know people that don't bedshare & don't CIO - they rock/nurse to sleep & then put baby down asleep, or pat baby's back, etc.

That's what i did with my first. He didn't start co-sleeping til later on, and he did it...'just cos' :D
But i totally credit his great sleeping schedule (at 7) to that initial sleep schedule before.

Co-sleeping is great, and not saying that co-sleeping = no schedule, but my daughter is definitely not on a schedule :(

My DD put herself on a schedule at a year ish, I'd put her down between 7-8pm, do my own thing/do SO on the couch haha, she'd wake up at midnight ish for a feed then sleep til 7-8am.
It gets interrupted/messed up sometimes, but it definitely is possible!
