Quoting Ravey Candyass:" what part of its not safe don't you get?"

Hey now. dont get hostile. Theres no need of that what so ever. I was just asking if there was any mothers that has done it. And what they think. If you wana get bitchy you dont have to comment. Just saying.
And second, if you didnt notice, I said right before my csection. Not weeks before.

Quoting Mrs.Guinnip:" "

You know you need to breastfeed at least once a week to keep your supply up if you only pump you will be lucky to get to 3 months and if you start giving the baby a bottle right off it will be very hard to switch over to your breast after not to mention pumping prior to giving birth gives you a greater chance of get clogged ducts.

Your welcome The lactation consultant I spoke with said it's because the pump doesn't stimulate the nipples the same way as a baby latching does so after a few months you will dry up I had to do this with my first and after 2 weeks my supply went straight down and I could no longer even get an ounce I was divested.

When I had my daughter by c-section they asked if I was going to BF. I told them I was and they brought the baby in while I was in recovery to start nursing. She also had low blood sugar but they never gave her formula.
