Hi ladies I have not been here in awhile but I always know I can come here for some quick info/advice. Lol

I'm 38 weeks and I have not felt my baby move since about 1pm it is now 2:40pm here. Is there a "method" as to get your baby to move around before I make a trip to the hospital?
Btw I'm 2cm dilated if that makes a difference and I do not feel no contractions which is why I don't know if I should be worried?

Lay on your left side and drink some cold juice or soda. Something sugary. Then count kicks for an hour.

This is what my doctor always says to do.

lay on your tummy? maybe you mean your back lol...cause yes laying on your back makes them uncomfortable, but you can still recline mostly so your tummy is facing the ceiling but your head is up so you don't feel lightheaded from the weight pressing on your vena cava. Sometimes after I drink something cold or sweet and recline, I also drum my fingers on my belly and that seems to rouse her...and lying in bed on one side also works good.

Drink some cold cold water, or juice, or soda like they said sugary should make him move but lay on your left side. I usually add some pokes and shoves... I'm impatient and paranoid lol.
