My son has a white tongue I breastfeed its always there. His roof and sides I mouth are not. He doesn't fuss feeding and my breast feel fine. Does this sound like thrush

Nope. The milk leaves a fatty white residue, once he starts going more than a few hours without nursing you will notice it goes away.

milk tongue is possible.. how often do you feed?

have you tried to rub it off with a cloth? if it doesnt come off, or if it does and its red and raw underneath then its probably thrush.

My DD is FF but has that too. I asked pedi about it and she said its just left over milk. I wouldn't worry about thrush until u notice it on the inside of his cheeks or gums and he is fussy.
