Quoting the grace life:" lol. We take toys away if they don't clean them up before bed. I don't play that game. Geesh, I sound so mean."

You're lucky then.

I thought something was up with Alyssa last night when I told her to go clean her room, and she walked into her room with no argument.

She came out 5 minutes later and closed the door on her way out.

I asked her if her room was clean, and she responded with yes.

So I tell her to open the door. (I was in the kitchen doing dishes, and you can see in her room from there).

She opens the door, and her floor was a mess.

Now she is mad because I won't let her play with her Mega blocks in the living room anymore, and her room is "Too messy to play blocks in."

You'd think she would get the concept of cleaning her room.

When K doesn't want to clean her room she goes in there and just falls asleep. It is infuriating.

LOL. Alyssa is going through the whole "Being scared" phase, and does what she can to camp out on the couch.

Yesterday morning, I woke up to make DH breakfast, and she was asleep in our doorway.

It's like OMG child. "GO. TO. YOUR. BED. Trust me. With all the shit under your bed it isn't possible for a monster to fit under there.

Ours crawl in our bed or on the couch from time to time. That doesn't bug us, I think we both enjoy those occasional cuddles. :)

Of definitely. We just try not to allow Alyssa to crawl in bed with us when DH has to work the next morning. (He gets up about 4:45am).

He thinks the kids shouldn't be allowed in our room period. He was raised that way though. I allow her to cuddle with us every now and then.

I have been locking my door a lot more lately. I am trying to make my daughter understand the concept of knocking.

Our kids aren't allowed in our room if we aren't there, but otherwise we don't care.

Every now and then I will let Alyssa lay in our bed and watch cartoons. For the most part, she knows not to get into anything.

I just don't like the thought of her walking in on us when we are showering together. She is at that age where Aaron and I feel it is inappropriate for her to see her daddy naked.

I hated being a stay at home mom. I'm technically now a student mom but I'm also unemployed so I still stay home with kids when I haven't shoved them into daycare.
