My 3 week old grunts........all the time. Sometimes it sounds like he's snorting or his nose is stopped up, but...Mostly, it's grunts. I googled it to see if it was normal and I came across GBS.
Apparently, it's when babies can't relax their anus when they're pooping and it says that it causes them discomfort. Yet....my son never seems to be in pain and never has an issue pooping. Plus, he has grown man farts that run me out of the room sometime.
Have any of you ever just had a baby that grunted, all the time?
my son was like, he just grunted and made noise all night.. he did it for the first few months
My daughter does that, DH was wondering if it is normal too. She's 9 months and instead of cooing she growls and grunts.
My son did that for a couple months. He was a preemie and his pedi said it's really common with preemies. It was like all day, all the time lol. He's just about 4 months now and only makes noises when he means to :)
My daughter grunted till about a month ago it was just who she was...now when there is silence I know there is something brewing in her diaper. And the grunts are more yabbering and screaming now I have always had a vocal grunting baby...she also has man farts. 5 months they only get worse fyi
My baby snorts like a pig and sounds congested. Her ped said its because at their age their atnoids* are overly enlarged it blocks the air way and causes the sound. They will go down to normal size when the baby gets older. My baby was born 12/10/12 so I was affraid she was sick, but he gave me saline drops to use and they help relieve her before feedings!!
My son is 8 weeks old and he constantly does this!
My 2 week old grunts and makes noises. I thought it was normal for infants
My son does that all the time he's 7 weeks. Especially in the early morning
hes just trying to figure out what noises he can make, everything sounds different out here, its weird to them and theyre trying to make sense of it all
My daughter did that and it ended up being she was VERY lactose intolerant and the formula was making it difficult for her to breath :( also gave her INCREDIBLY bad constipation - literally turds the size of a grown person coming from a newborn! as soon as we switched to soy she was fine!
