Or Ipad or whatever you call them? DH has a kindle fire and my parents want to get our 8 year old son something like that. Do they have something that is more geared towards kids? With learning apps and what not? Our neighbor girl got a Nook Color, is that a good one?

My niece is 4 and her grandparents got her an iPad. It has learning apps for her. Like coloring, puzzles, videos, and all that cool stuff.
I asked the in laws if they could get my son a leap pad when he's a little older and they want to get him an iPad instead. They said it has more learning apps.

Are you able to get learning stuff on the Inotab? Also, can you get on the internet?

My son has an ipad, which i like because it locks so he cant just buy anything he wants off of it, it needs a passcode versus the kindles which dont do that (and that can be a crazy bill!!) and also they have SOOOOOO many apps and stuff on the ipad that are educational and fun! and a large number of em are free!

Don't know much about it but my goddaughter received a Nabi Tablet for her birthday... You can access the internet on that I believe.

The Innotab 2S has wifi.

My dad is cheap, lol, and he just got DD the Innotab 2. So it is a pain in the butt I have to plug it into the computer when she wants something.
