High risk pregnancy question? geni (: Due September 9 (girl); 33 kids; Texas 84 posts

Hi ladies!
I had my BFP on December 30. It was a very faint line, then I tested again one jan 1st. Darker line! Yay!
Anyways my question is, I had two miscarriages then after those two I had my now two year toddler. When I was pregnant with him I bleed and I was a high risk, and was put on bed rest. I was just wondering could this pregnancy be a high risk as well?

There is always that possibility, but it depends on what caused your issues last time. Just because one pregnancy is high risk does not mean they all are. They may choose to treat you as high risk initially considering your history though. I will always be high risk with every pregnancy because of a blood clotting disorder.

There is a possibility. Discuss your health history with your doctor for a more accurate answer.

Hahahahahaha!!!

This one was somewhat of a surprise. This particular cycle we decided to just see what would happen, but looking at really trying in February. The night I conceived this baby my fiance had a heart attack right after sex and we weren't sure he was going to make it. He had a 95% blockage of his LAD artery (the "widowmaker") and I was fortunately there and saw it happen and new how to do CPR before the paramedics got there. Considering all the stress I'm shocked I conceived at all. But I'd also prayed that if he didn't make it to leave me with a baby. And I got two Christmas miracles in that he survived and is going to be fine and the new baby. :)

He's doing pretty good now after they put a stent in him. He has to take some meds because of the stent now.

I wasn't high risk with my DD, but I'm high risk this time because I have placenta previa. I think it all depends on how this pregnancy starts out. What caused your bleeding before?
