If she needs changed then, yes change her but if not then don't.

This comes off as snappy to me. But like I said nothing to get upset over. I would have just brushed it off.

Like another mama said, short answers can seem rude. Like you're exasperated with her. Like maybe you were annoyed when she (from her point of view) was trying to be friendly/helpful.

Yeah. I see how that part of it could seem snappy. Idk, I've never had someone think every thing I said is mean.

Yeah. I definitely didn't mean it that way.
Now we have to have a meeting on Monday. I'm like seriously?!

I forgot the second part does sound snappy- she probably wouldn't have been upset if it was worded differently.

Sorry I don't mean to sound snappy. I am just trying to finish. If she does please change of she doesn't don't change her.

It's really just a difference in what people find rude.

Yeah. Personally it wouldn't bother me. When I am bust I tend to come off as snappy too. Everyone that really knows me, knows this and just ignores me haha.

Ugh. I don't want to feel like I have to walk on egg shells with this girl and turn every single thing into a full blown conversation just so she doesn't get upset. That'll be exhausting!

Yeah. When my boss told me that I was like a meeting about what?!! She said she just doesn't want the girl to quit. I asked what she thought I could've done differently and she I should've stopped what I was doing and responded.
Soooooo I should stop everytime she says something?? Nothing will ever get done because Chatty Cathy over here talks all damn day!

Yeah. I can see her not maybe liking talking to you ( I can't stand when my husband pulls this short answer crap) but to cause meetings and crap- lAme

I'm good at holding my tongue. If something is really bothering me, which rarely happens, I address it and move on. But these girls I work with are so emotional and crazy.

I talk to her alllllllllllllll day. ALL day. But when shit needs done, I do it. I still listen and respond as needed but fuuuuuckk lol. It's not like I ignore her all day and just give short answers. We have ongoing conversations throughout the day.

That's probably why she thought you were mad. If your responses through out the day are different this probably through her off. I would have thought you were mad too until you explain it.

It's really something you probably need to tell her. Like I say she probably finds it rude that you don't stop and not have short responses. Some people were brought up that way and don't know that's just how you are
