I tried to call her when I left work. I text her this
"So I talked to ___. I'm not exactly sure why you thought I had an attitude with you. I don't think I've ever given you an attitude. I know you were mad about the diaper thing but I wasn't trying to be rude. In my mind, "if she needs it, yeah" is not rude. If you took it in a rude way I'm sorry. I was focused on cleaning. Every time I get focused, I zone and get quiet. We have talked about this before. I'd rather get stuff done and then have a conversation. I don't see that as rude. I've always been that way. I think you read too much into it when I'm quiet or "short" with you. If its a simple question, it's a simple answer. I mean I can def try to be more chatty when doing stuff but it's honestly somwthing I dont even think about. I don't want there to be tension or problems between us."
She didn't answer and hasn't responded so I'm over it. She's with our boss and another girl from work right now. Any other day she can't stand our boss, but today they're besties!

Not to be rude but with that I would not respond to that either. It's all about what she did wrong and not accepting any blame.

But I did accept it. I said that when I get focused I zone.
I wasn't trying to be rude.
I don't think about it when I'm doing stuff (in reference to chatting) but ill work on it.
I don't want problems with us.
To me, what I said wasn't rude and I'm sorry if she took it that way.

Aaagh I give up. Seriously. I suppose we will just discuss it at our meeting on Monday.

Usually apologies don't focus mainly on what the person did wrong. More of what you said right here is better apology.

Good luck on Monday.
