Friday 5/10 Trivia Answers

Answer 1 (200 points if correct, -100 if incorrect)
A green creature with sharp horns and long, brittle fingers
Question: What is a grindylow/water demon? (I took either/or)

Answer 2 (200 points if correct, -100 if incorrect)
A creature that looks like a shell-less lobster, smells like rotting fish, and gives off sparks from one end.
Question: What is a blast-ended skrewt?

Bonus Question: (400 points)
In what two classes did Hogwarts students learn about the creatures from Answers 1 & 2?
Defense Against the Dark Arts and Care of Magical Creatures (had to list both answers and answer both regular trivia questions for credit)

I didn't count off points for not answering in question form but I will next time you lazy girls :P Also, don't forget to put your NAME AND HOUSE with your answers. I looked some up this time but not again!

Points! Good turnout for all the houses :)

I can give to Saturday any week, it doesn't bother me in the slightest :) Just this week especially I'm a busy bee. If it works best for everyone (assuming questions are still posted like normal), that I leave stuff up for 5ish days, I don't mind doing that at all!

It might be one of those differences between UK and US versions. Mine is a US copy and it says lemon drops.

In the CoS movie, McGonagall says Sherbert (Sherbet??) Lemon when taking Harry to Dumbledore's office.

Lol yeah I can hear her say it in my head :) But I was just commenting on how she said that her book says sherbert lemon while mine says lemon drop. Just one of those weird version changes

Might be what US/UK people call the same thing? Who knows. The oddest words are changed.
