My daughter had this same problem when she was about 6 weeks old. We used a suppository and it worked instantly. You could see the relief in her lil face. We just went to CVS or Walgreens. We talked to the pharmacist that they had at the time. CVS usually has pharmacist there 24/7 or atleast here in TX they do. But you dont want to use suppositories alot or your baby will become dependant on them to poop. We only had to use it a handful of times before the problem worked itself out.

I tryed and there isnt one on call and I don't want to take her to the hospital up here because before I took her to the hospital up here she was pooping right and now she isn't pooling right ever since they did the rectal temperature and they was pretty ruff at sticking up there

Have you had her checked out by the doctor? Did you start solids? A new food to her diet?

SOunds to me its probably something in her diet. my son got really constipated when we switched him to toddler formula. ANd when we started to introduce whole milk.
I dont think therectal thermometer would cause her poop to be hard, you may actually want to try it, thats how i've gotten my son to poop. And like the other momma said putting vaseline on it with help the poop come out.
