Anxiety disorder... Mommy2Kay 1 child; Florida 4223 posts

According to all the online tests I do, I may suffer from a severe anxiety disorder. I had a feel I did but I never thought of it being "severe". I wish I could get help as I feel like I'm deteriorating but I have no insurance and according to FL, I make too much money on unemployment to get medicaid.

Right now, I am having a difficult time catching my breath. I am aware of my breathing at all times and feel as if I don't get enough oxygen to my lungs or like if I'm going to stop breathing. This happen often but it has been going on A LOT for the past 3 days. It's driving me crazy and Idk what to do. Any suggestions ladies?

Not being able to breath is not that big of a sign. Thats something fucked up in your lungs. My anxiety attacks gets so bad i pass out then have seizures, i wake up not knowing who or where i am.

I have asthma, this isn't it. It goes away for a bit and then out of no where I start feeling it again. I know I am getting enough oxygen but I just feel like I need to keep taking deep breaths every time I think of my breathing. I an struggling with other things but this is what is bothering me the most right now, I can't do much about my crazy thoughts.

My therapist says I live at an 8 on the anxiety scale everyday, but she urges me if I get to a 10 go to the hospital. That is always a choice you have, to seek inpatient care. I also have suicidal ideation tho.

No, I know it isn't coming from my lungs, it's just my head playing with me and makes me think I will stop breathing and I start yawing a whole lot and taking deep breaths. I always think someone will kill me, even in my own house like if I walk by the pool door when it's dark out and I can't see if there is anyone there. I get in a car and I just worry myself sick that there is going to be a crash and I'm going to die and I see all the blood and dead bodies around me.

There's so much I would never end..

I do too...I had a really bad night not too long ago, I have been suicidal for years, yet I have never spoken to a doctor about it and now that I can't afford it, I have no idea what to do.

Feeling like you can't breathe or get enough air is a very common sign and can escalate the problem.

OP everyone experiences and deals with anxiety differently. There are tons of symptoms but just know the biggest downfall is letting it take over. Just remind yourself "this too shall pass"

Also anxiety attacks tend to come in clusters becausee that first one f**ks with you and makes you thinki about it which usually causes more attacks.

If you are suicidal, please go to the ER you can receiver inpatient care and they will also refer you to a non profit counciling center if you ask. I have insurance and still go to a non profit councilor.

Yawning is your body's natural reaction to gain oxygen when it doesn't have enough of it...

This is not you...it is your body.

Get yourself checked out, your body is trying to get more oxygen and you should figure out why.

I know, I try to hard to fight it but it's really hard. A friend of mine says that it's your own brain going against itself, how can I win that fight? It's so hard!

I'm scared of the dark too, I have always been. I hate being alone, but if I'm in a crowd I feel like everyone is just staring at me and fear someone will do something. I am so tired of fighting this, I just wish I could be normal.

Are you unemployed because you can not hold a job due to anxiety? Or because jobs are not hiring? If so, you can see if you can qualify for disability, they will help with medical to get you help. I have a severe case of bipolar disorder and axiety, i was on disability for a while. I aquired therapy and started taking meds that helped me so much. I can now function in society.
